Good day, Steve.
00:01
thanks for sending through the website.
00:02
I know you said you're going to change it and all that, but I feel like I still need to provide advice.
00:06
good thing you're considering Claude.
00:10
But, you need to understand all the fundamentals of SEO before you start building a website with Claude.
00:17
Just to keep that in mind.
00:18
anyway, let's check this out.
00:22
so Forks llc, Financial Operational Restaurant Controller Services.
00:29
Okay, this is humongous.
00:33
I feel like this could have been been all just a tiny little logo here.
00:38
that's fine.
00:39
You want that, the writing but the enormous logo.
00:44
there's a few things I look at when I look at a website.
00:48
I look at the conversion friendly design, I look at the metadata and how quickly it's loading.
00:54
So let's take a look at those three components here.
00:56
So, LLC provides comprehensive accounting and operational solutions designed to help restaurants and businesses thrive in today's competitive market.
01:09
Cool.
01:09
That's fine.
01:10
But I feel like this, there could have been a better way.
01:13
like a subheading for that get started today is a really lazy call to action.
01:19
like the call to action needs to match what you're trying to do, like get your restaurant sorted or whatever it is the service that, you know that actually just helping do this is the main issue.
01:34
essentially what you have apart from the blog post, you have a landing page, you don't really have a website.
01:38
what I, and I mean with that, with the greatest respect, but all these should be individual, services.
01:46
Like if I click on accounting, I should see accounting services for restaurants.
01:52
I don't know if that's the thing that you do, but you get my drift.
01:55
Like a bookkeeping service for restaurants.
01:56
And not only that, where are you providing this service?
02:00
Is it in Texas?
02:01
Is it in Australia?
02:02
Is it in the uk?
02:03
Is it in like we.
02:05
I'm assuming you need.
02:07
You can only do it for a certain state.
02:09
Might be wrong there.
02:10
I'm pretty ignorant.
02:11
But let's say in New York, then it's going to be like accounting services, for restaurants in New York you have to be very specific with your keyword selection.
02:19
Particularly these days if you want any chance of ranking the AI overviews and GPT and stuff like that.
02:23
So all these should be individual pages.
02:27
I like the fact you've got, you know, the photos there.
02:31
That's good.
02:31
What our clients say.
02:33
This coming soon thing, I don't need to tell you that's just lazy.
02:37
Like if you don't have so Many reviews.
02:39
Check them out.
02:40
One review is better than these ones here.
02:43
Like yeah, get in touch, that's fine.
02:47
And then none of the social media icons work.
02:51
some of them.
02:52
No, that goes to the same page.
02:56
So that's doesn't make sense.
02:58
That goes to the home page.
02:59
That doesn't make sense.
03:01
So just basics here.
03:03
that, that aren't really helping you whatsoever.
03:09
I don't mind the color.
03:11
You could probably add a couple of images here and there.
03:13
the content is very thin.
03:15
You could have added an FAQs.
03:17
How we work, case studies, what we've helped doing, like there's, there's a lot more content that you need to place here.
03:24
Looking at the metadata again, Professional accounting and operational services in state, location, H1S, financial operator, restaurant control services.
03:43
Okay, it's fine.
03:45
And then no schema.
03:46
Okay.
03:47
schema is a little bit of code, that you need to put on your website and all the important pages that tells the search engines instantly and exactly what it is that you have on your page.
03:58
It's not to say that you're not going to rank without schema, but you're not making your life any easier and it'll be very easy to compete against you if you don't have schema.
04:08
yeah, there's this like schema for your service, this person schema.
04:14
There's a lot of things that you need to add in here.
04:16
let's go to the blogs here.
04:31
Okay, that's not really a blog, that's like a sentence.
04:35
okay, let's see another one here.
04:40
Okay, this is a little bit more no headings.
04:47
Is there any headings here?
04:49
It doesn't look like it.
04:49
If there is, it looks terrible.
04:51
sorry, I'm not being, I'm not trying to be an asshole, but it doesn't really look that good.
04:56
So no headings.
04:58
Also, whenever, particularly in your industry, you fall under a category called your money, your life.
05:03
Because if I take your advice, my finances are going to get affected.
05:08
Right.
05:09
So when you're writing a blog post, it's really a non negotiable for you when you make a statement here.
05:15
Like for example, a persistent issue underscored by tight labor market and elevated turnover rates which can reach up to 80% annually in some restaurant segments.
05:25
Great.
05:25
Where on earth did you get that information?
05:27
Like you need to link to the source where you got that from.
05:30
I know you know your stuff.
05:31
You've been in the industry along.
05:33
I have no doubt like you that you do a very good job but for Google to trust you, that is a non negotiable.
05:39
So there's a lot of things here.
05:40
It's just like the fundamentals are really missing.
05:43
so if you are going to redesign this and really kind of work on it again, I would probably suggest you start with really getting the basics down.
05:58
So start with a seven day action plan, follow through the website, but then before you even touch Claude or WordPress or whatever, you want to build a new site, please do the planning and structure.
06:10
So number six, local SEO planning and structure.
06:13
I know that maybe you provide your services everywhere that.
06:15
That's not the point here.
06:17
If you don't have a structure before you build, it's going to be very difficult for you to rank really well.
06:24
So watch that and then come back to me with any, with any kind of questions that you might have.
06:30
yeah, the good thing is that there's a lot of things to like, there's a lot of opportunities here for you to improve this.
06:35
but right now.
06:37
Yeah, I mean it's, it's kind of very telling to see why it's not really ranking.
06:45
There's a lot of missing elements here.
06:47
I hope that wasn't too harsh.
06:48
I, I don't mean to, to sound like an asshole, but if I'm not honest, then I'm not really doing my due diligence.
06:54
So if you have any questions, shout out to me.
06:55
Cheers.
