How to generate posts using a URL in Magic Post 🪄

Today I'm going to be showing you how to generate a LinkedIn post using Magic Post with just a URL.

So to start off with, here, we're in the post generator on Magic Post.

We're going to go to the URL section here.

This is really great because you can paste in a YouTube video, you can use a blog post, a website, an article, really using anything that you need.

And this really allows you to repurpose some of your past information and content, which is a huge time saver.

So I just pulled a link from our YouTube channel explaining how to generate a LinkedIn carousel.

it's important to note that when you put in a URL, you have the different post types.

There's actionable, inspiring, introspective and promotional.

And from that we have different post categories.

So because ours is about how to generate a LinkedIn carousel and we're going to do best practices here, we're going to go ahead and generate that post.

it's really important to remember to set those post types and post categories because this will just help the AI, generate the most targeted content for you.

As we can see here, it has generated an entire post for us just within seconds.

And like always, you're able to go in and edit directly from here.

now that I've shown you how to upload a YouTube URL, I'm going to show you what it's going to look like if you were to take a blog URL.

So we're just going to go over here.

I've put in Magic Post website and we have Magic Post blog here with a bunch of different articles that we can choose from.

We're going to take the eight, LinkedIn alternatives to try before 2026.

Just going to double click copy that link address, head back over to Magic Post, and then once again go to that URL section here, paste it in, and again with the post types and post categories.

Because the one that we just chose it was maybe a little bit more introspective thinking about what other alternatives there are to LinkedIn.

So it's kind of thought provoking.

All right, and we can generate that post just like before.

But as you'll see here, taking a blog post allows you to repurpose that information that you have already generated into a very LinkedIn forward format.

All right, and the third and final URL that I'm going to be showing you is if you wanted to take a website URL.

So for purposes here, I've just taken our Magic Post Enterprise page.

We're going to copy and paste that entire URL back into the, URL field here.

And then again, using that post types and post categories, we're going to say this one is a little bit more promotional.

And in terms of post category, we'll say this is a product highlight.

You're going to hit generate that post, Watch Magic Post do its thing.

You can make little edits from there, schedule post, and you're all set to go.
