Expectations 🏔️

Fred Catley

This video outlines the expectations for both the coach and the client to ensure successful results. It uses the analogy of climbing Mount Everest, where the coach is the Sherpa guiding the client to the summit. The client is responsible for the effort and commitment required for the climb. Communication guidelines are also provided: responses on WhatsApp are expected within 24-48 hours on weekdays, with no replies on weekends to allow for rest and recharge.

hello.

00:01

So this is just a quick video, just going over some expectations.

00:04

So expectations of me as a coach and then expectations of you as a client.

00:08

So you will have filled out this document earlier on in the onboarding and it's just a quick video going over it again.

00:14

So I must do all these things as a coach and you must do all these things as a client.

00:20

And if we both do all these things then you will get the result that you want.

00:25

I've got no doubt in my mind there you want to think about this like climbing Everest.

00:30

So if you wanted to climb Everest and you didn't have any climbing or mountaineering knowledge, you would need a Sherpa to guide you.

00:38

Now the Sherpa will guide you from the bottom all the way to the top of Everest.

00:42

But the Sherpa can't actually walk or climb for you and they can't get you fit enough and strong enough to be able to climb Everest.

00:48

And in this analogy I'm the Sherpa and you are the person who wants to climb Everest.

00:52

And so I can give you the system to follow, I can give you the programming, I'm going to give you a lot, obviously a lot of support and accountability.

00:59

so, but the earnest is on you to do the work.

01:02

So as long as you understand that we can definitely get your result.

01:05

And I'm really excited to get started.

01:07

The other thing is just communication.

01:10

So on WhatsApp Monday to Friday, I will get back to any messages or any videos within 24 to 48 hours.

01:20

99.9% of the time it will be within 24 hours.

01:23

But obviously things happen in life and occasionally it will be a little bit longer than that.

01:28

But I will update you when that happens.

01:31

On weekends I won't be answering any messages.

01:35

That is just me time and I need that time to recharge.

01:39

And actually I found that I can communicate better with you.

01:42

I can give you better feedback if, if I have that time just to rest and relax.

01:47

And so feel free to send me messages on the weekends but I won't be getting back to those until Monday.

01:53

again with messages throughout the week.

01:57

99.9% of the time I get my messages early on in the morning, so somewhere between half six and eight o'.

02:05

Clock.

02:06

And then throughout the day when I've got time I will reply to them.

02:10

But again use that 24 to 48 hour window as kind of the expectation.

02:15

Okay.

02:15

This isn't a thing where I'm going to be replying within two seconds on WhatsApp.

02:19

and the reason for that is because a lot of the time I'm working on a lot more important things for you.

02:24

So either programming for you or building out the members area to provide really good training for you.

02:29

and so obviously, unless it's an emergency and you know you've broken your leg or something really bad has happened with your injury and obviously feel free to give me a ring, but apart from that, just use, that time window.
