Golfify Events Now Supports Payments! 💰

Hi everyone.

James here from Golfify.

Delighted to announce we've now added payments to the app.

this means you can set an entry fee for your event and you can also manually invoice players and they can pay those invoices really easily.

On Golfify, we also handle all the refunds and the payment management and it's a really clean experience to get all your payments, all, all your event admin in just one place.

So on this video I'm just going to give you a quick overview of how it works and then we've broken it into individual videos which go into more detail in each section.

So to begin with you can just go to your event settings, game settings and then you'll find there's a new option called Registration and Payments.

So if you tap that you first need to link your Stripe account to Golfify and once that's done you can set up event entry payments.

and you can select from a number of currencies too.

Once you've done that you can simply go back to the home screen of your event and then when the player taps enter, they'll see it now shows up with the entry fee and they can just simply go ahead and start the checkout.

The checkout process is all handled by Stripe, so we can just simply go in here and we can use Stripe to make the payment.

So we can just simply use link here and make the payment.

This takes us back to the Golfify home screen with confirmation that we've paid.

Once we press done, we can see that we've now been entered into this event.

We've also introduced this new screen called registration where you can view the player, the player can view their own registration and also the admin of the event can view player registrations.

We're going to be adding more features to this screen as we go.

you can also add manual payments to players.

So if you go to your players you can tap the currency symbol or you can tap view registration and you can simply add a custom invoice to any players.

So for this one I'll just use a custom invoice.

We can say merch and we'll put that at $20 and we'll go ahead and create that invoice item.

So the, if we go back to the event home screen now, you can see we have this invoice to pay.

And if we go into the players and then we tap Tiger woods and view the registration, you'll also see that the player can pay that invoice in there as well.

I'm actually signed in as Tiger woods now, so I'm just going to go ahead and pay the invoice.

And we can just simply tap pay again in the stripe checkout.

Okay.

So that's how invoicing works in Gulfi.

really nice, super flexible.

You can assign invoices to any players inside your event and anytime in the event as well.

so that's a quick overview of the payments feature.

There's a load more to it which I can't cover in this video, but you can handle refunds, everything all inside the app.
