And in this video we're going to look at how you can do manual invoicing on Golfify events, to collect payments from players you may have already entered into the event.

So on the screen here you can see I have, I'm inside a Golfify invitational event and if I go to the players, I can see I've already got two players in there already.

Now a really common flow on Golfify is organizers want to just add the players initially and then they can get the event settings, they can organize the groupings, etc.

but if you do that, you actually bypass, allowing the players to join themselves so they don't have an option to pay their entry, when they enter.

So in this situation, you can use manual invoicing to add an invoice to a player and you can actually use manual invoicing for players who have already paid their event entry too.

So if there's extra items that you want to invoice a player for, you can just do this really quickly inside the Golfify app.

Let me show you how that works.

So I'm going to go ahead and add a new player to the event.

I'm going to add Justin Rows.

And you can see now Justin Rose has been added to the event.

And you can also see that Justin Rose has a dollar icon which is greyed out, which means that the player has not yet paid.

And any entry, money or anything like that or any invoices.

So what we can do is we can tap on that dollar symbol or we can tap view registration, let's go with the dollar symbol.

In this approach you can see this takes us onto Justin Rose's payment screen for the event.

This is a screen that only the admin can see and you can see now we've got two options.

We could create a new invoice or we could mark, we can mark that Justin Rose is paid, a different way.

So let's go ahead and create the invoice.

I'm going to enter a custom amount.

In fact, we'll choose from the event entry catalog, and we'll add the item for event entry to Justin Rose's invoice.

We can also toggle, if he's paid manually or not.

So he might have given us cash, we might have given him a free entry based on some credit that he already had.

So if you want to mark the user as paid, you can toggle mark paid manually, but if you leave that toggled off, it's going to create an invoice which the player can actually pay.

So I'm going to go ahead, and press create invoice.

Okay, so now you can see my new invoice has been created for Justin Rose and it says that the, invoice is pending.

So I'm going to go and you can now see that the dollar icon is also pending.

So what I'm going to do is switch devices to Justin Rose so I can show you, what Justin Rose, will see and how he can go ahead and pay that invoice.

So I'm now on Justin Rose's device, and I've loaded up the event, which was already on the home screen because we added him directly into the event.

now you can see on the home screen for Justin Rose, he has this new payments required option here where it says it gives him the option to pay an invoice.

Now what actually happens here, Justin Rose will not be able to start scoring until he's paid that invoice.

So to pay it, it's writt simple.

All he needs to do is tap pay.

Now he can review the amount of the invoice and then confirm and pay.

That's going to open up a stripe checkout and we're just going to go ahead and tap pay.

Okay, so that's done and it's taken us back to the event now.

And for Justin Rose to see a record of what he paid, you can just go into the registration, here and you can see that he's got this paid invoice here and he can look at that invoice in more detail if he wants to.

So it's really easy to issue invoices to players on golfi and you can also issue them to players who've already paid things.

You can add extras, for example if they buy merch or if they want to include the dinner in their ticket.

so this is a really flexible way of managing your payments and keeping it all within the app.

So you can see on the home screen.

On the admin home screen you'll be able to see all the transactions inside your app.

the money is going directly to your stripe account as discussed in the other videos.
