Create Project Statuses & Tags

In this video, I'm going to show you how to make project statuses and project tags.

We're going to navigate to the Projects tab in your left hand menu and then we're going to click Customize.

This section at the top is where you will add all of your project statuses.

You will click Add Status, type the name of your project status, and then select whether that's a lead status or a job status, and then click Save.

Now, if you forget to click Job when you are creating a job project status and it ends up up here in lead, no worries.

You can simply click and drag it down to Job.

And look, now it's there.

Once you've created all of your project statuses, you're going to want to select the one that you want to see when you first click the Projects tab.

Basically, you're selecting your default project status.

So these are going to be the projects that you want to keep an eye on.

So you may want to keep an eye on your new inquiries if you need to respond to them manually.

Or if you're like me, you may want to remember what you have coming up.

So you so you may choose Upcoming or Active or whatever that project status equivalent is for you.

Then on this same page, you're going to scroll down to the bottom and you'll find the tag section.

You will add a tag for each job type you have.

Then you will click Save.

And that's it.

That's how you create your project statuses and your project tags.

You don't need to click Save.

You can just navigate back projects and you will see your new status.
