To get started, take a look at your left bar and click on Outreach.

Once you're here, you can set up your outreach manager settings and ensure that you have the right target country and language, email tone of voice and custom instructions.

This is very important to ensure that the outreach is done exactly like you imagine it.

Once you have set up your outreach settings, you can start a new discovery.

The way we lay it down is to start with the goal first.

You have two types of goals here.

The first goal is either to get brand mentions and backlinks or or you want to promote a specific page, product or service.

In this example I'm going to go with the brand mentions and backlinks.

and I'm looking to get mentions in the US and in English.

Most of the time when people do outreach to get a mention or a backlink, there's an issue in the reason why people should link to them.

You should always ask yourself, why would this person care about my brand or services?

And secondly, what's in it for them?

So we track that as well directly in our source fetching The way it works is pretty simple.

We have a four step process.

The first step is to get the sources based on your domain incentive and core offering.

The second step is to find the contacts, the most relevant contacts within the companies that that have written the article that you're targeting or the page that you're targeting.

The third step is to generate the email sequence based on your incentive, the actual page.

So what we do is we also crawl the page that is talking about the topic that might be of interest.

We we find out potential gaps in the content so that you can have a real added value and we personalize the outreach emails to the person.

We won't talk the same way to a VP of a huge company and to a local blogger.

So we also adapt the messaging based on that.

So I'm going to exclude competitors for now and only focus on the 25 sources that are not competitors and have written in topics that I care about.
