00:00

So let me introduce you to the sourcing and listing product file.

00:06

So this is the same structure for every website you will have— you will be, willing to work on.

00:15

So for example, this is for a specific website, but this will be the same structure and the same way to understanding the process and the, and the full SOP.

00:27

So basically what we are doing here is finding products that will be go— that will be listed into our websites.

00:37

So for example, this is one of our websites, and, so it's— I, I want you to understand that it's not only, filling cells into spreadsheets.

00:56

It's more than that.

00:57

It's finding real products that cannot be imported on a website and that's good, that are gonna be sold.

01:05

So that's really, really important to have the full view of what is this project and, why you're working for— what's the purpose of your job and what's the end of, of all of this.

01:22

So here is one website that we created, and you can see— so for example, this is the template of the site, of the, of the spreadsheets.

01:35

So first you will see the site structures.

01:39

The goal for you is to understand like you will be asked to source products, so to find products, but it's not only keywords, prices, and links and stuff.

01:58

So all those keywords, all those products that you will be— that you will source will be imported and that's going to be part of, creating a real e-commerce website.

02:14

So as you can see, this is a site structure that we made for a new site.

02:20

So here, that's— there is, category and, attributes that's going to be, used to sort every type of product.

02:31

So for example, here it's a clock, store.

02:35

So here you can see it's a clock store.

02:40

So for example, here our goal will to create a store about this products.

02:48

So we created, many categories and our goal will to find products that will be imported and listed into those cat— those products categories.

03:02

So here we sorted by style.

03:04

So for example, it's written in French, but it's wall clock, wall design clock, old clock, vintage clock, Roman numbers clock, etc., etc.

03:19

And the goal for you will to find the perfect products that goes into those categories.

03:26

So this is the structure, and then here is how it goes when in— when the— when the site is made.

03:34

So you can see the same structure here, and it gave us real products with real product categories.

03:43

So it's the goal of— the purpose of this video is to introduce you to what's going to be made with your work at the end of the day.

03:51

It's not only it's not only spreadsheets, it's not only based on finding products, it's a real, market research to find products that's going to be really sold at the end of the day.

04:07

That's really important to let you know about that.

04:12

So to be back to this spreadsheet, you can see you have the structure of the website here.

04:18

And this is another view of the categories listed here.

04:25

So all those categories just sorted here in one page.

04:34

And, so every categories of products— so for example here, wall clock design, it's gonna be a keyword that people are gonna search on Google, and then when they're gonna find us, they're gonna click on it and see our products.

04:56

So this is not only a keyword or stuff, it's, the entrance of the customer into our website, and that's the first step in the, the purchasing journey.

05:12

So here, this is really important to understand that.

05:14

And also you will see on this page, the volume.

05:19

So it means how many people search this keyword every month on the French market.

05:25

So that's really, really important to, have this view also.

05:30

You're not only here to, to execute and work on basic nonsense tasks.

05:40

Here, it's— the goal is to understand the full process of what you are doing here.

05:46

So you have the keyword, you have the volume, and you have the status of the category.

05:51

So for example, there will be some categories that we are not gonna source products for.

05:58

For example, we have some color keywords.

06:04

So for example, here it's yellow clock.

06:07

So yellow clock, we are not going to find products for this category, but some, some products that's going to be imported in other categories, for example, are going to be also added to this kind of category.

06:25

For example, if you're looking for, vintage clock here and some products of these categories are yellow.

06:36

We're gonna also add it to, Yellow Clock.

06:40

So that's why you are not— we are not gonna source everything in every category.

06:45

So that's why there are statuses too.

06:48

And your goal will be to source products in order of the most important one to the less important one.

06:58

So you can use, Google Sheets is really good for that, to use the sorting, functions.

07:08

Here you can use filters and you can also filter by two sources.

07:14

So in this view you can see what you will have to do in the next days and next weeks.

07:25

And your, your work will start here by looking for information about the French market and the target market.

07:34

So here you will be asked to really dig into what the customer wants.

07:41

So for example, here it's, old clock.

07:47

So old clock.

07:50

Every time you, market research, please use a VPN straight connected to the target market.

07:59

So here, incognito tab, you are gonna search the keyword.

08:06

As you can see, we have here some competitors that are ranking on this keyword.

08:20

So your goal will be to understand what type of product we are looking for and what type of content is needed here.

08:31

So the goal is to click on the competitors here on the SERPs and also to look at the Google Shopping search results.

08:42

Really, really, really important.

08:45

So here you can see the style, you can see the shapes, you can see, what kind of products you are looking for in general.

08:54

Like, this is in general what we are looking for.

08:58

All right, so you can— here, I think I'm gonna maybe delete this because it's not really important, but just, for you to maybe just— I'm gonna maybe just let one, cell, like one row here to let you write what, this category meaning for you.

09:27

Like here we can see, price range from, yeah, from $100 to several K pricing.

09:57

Sorry, sorry.

10:06

€6K, high ticket product, look old, vintage, premium market, what else?

10:25

It can be also related to I forgot the name of the style.

10:34

it's, it's Art Deco style, maybe.

10:41

Yeah, so here the goal is to just— before, so you're gonna start doing this and click on sourcing in progress.

10:55

And then you're gonna start sourcing the products here.

11:03

this first step's goal is to make you, like dig into a special type of products and to be really focused on what you're looking for, to know perfectly well what you're looking for.

11:20

And yeah, that's the goal.

11:23

So here you can see also the checking sourcing— the checklist sourcing, sorry.

11:28

And this is what you will have to be really, really, aware of, while you are sourcing products.

11:37

So it can be images, alimentation, like kind of product you are looking for.

11:41

For example, here we are looking for, clocks.

11:45

So clocks are clocks alimentations are with a battery, lithium, or direct plug.

11:54

So you have to be aware of, of those aspects.

11:58

You have to know about the product specifications before starting sourcing.

12:06

also you have to be aware about margins.

12:09

Don't worry, there is a specific videos after that to talk about how to source, how to be aware about margins, about profits.

12:23

every— all the sourcing process is detailed after that, like in, in the SOP.

12:29

But just to let you know that you'll see all the checklists that summarize everything you have to be aware of and really careful of.

12:38

Here.

12:39

The main, so here you will see the folder with the keywords.

12:46

So here you will see all the keywords, that you're gonna, be willing to, you are going to be asked to, open and sort to find best keywords here.

13:01

So as you can see, we are working on this product category.

13:05

And, so let's— yeah, here you can see this is the file that fits with the, category we are starting sourcing in.

13:25

So here you're gonna use this to find best products, best keywords.

13:31

And once it's done, you can click on sourcing done.

13:37

I'm gonna add number of products here then, and then, the goal is to source 20 products before switching to another product category.

13:58

But you have to know that if you don't find any products, don't lose too much time in it.

14:06

So for example, if there is a certain type of product that is really, really hard to find because it's really specific, really, the design is really specific, and all the product— the product, specifications are really tricky and really hard to find.

14:28

If you have 10, 12, products, it's okay.

14:33

We all always prioritize, quality over quantity.

14:39

So that's really important.

14:42

So once you have done this sourcing, so every sourcing will be here.

14:48

You're done.

14:50

this part is not made for you, it's for the listing part that is the next one.

14:56

So yeah, this is the, the introduction of the file, just to let you know what you're dealing with in terms of file and process.
