many times we find ourselves wanting to pick a specific portfolio over a given token just because we want to be able to diversify our approach when it comes to allocating capital in crypto.
00:10
Sometimes we want to be able to have exposure to certain narratives that we believe that are going to do well., and we want to have these tools at our disposal instead of us managing the underlying tokens of the— of, that we have in our wallets.
00:23
And today I'm going to showcase Avo, which is a marketplace for trading agents, indexes, as well as managed funds.
00:30
You're going to be able to see how we're going to pick an index, we're going to allocate some capital to it, we're going to see how it trades, and eventually we're going to be able to withdraw our capital.
00:41
Our thesis is that we believe capital is going to be managed autonomously, and we want to be able to create the tools necessary in order for us to execute on that vision.
00:50
So let's dive So first of all, I'm going to disconnect one more time just so that we can go through the connection process.
00:59
Once you connect, you can, you can, you can go to your, profile.
01:07
You can make these changes, such as changing your nickname, name, so on.
01:15
And what we're gonna do is we're gonna go and deploy some capital in one of our indexes.
01:24
So we've got the Precious Metals, Magnificent Meteora, and the MAG7.
01:29
Precious Metals is an equal distribution of the top precious metals.
01:33
The Magnificent Meteora is top ICM tokens, also, distributed add a custom portfolio setting, as well as the MAG7 index is the top 7 companies that have their stocks tokenized.
01:49
I like this, so I'm gonna put some money— 25— and once I confirm, that's all that I need to do actually.
02:03
Now the pool is created, the capital has been deposited, the agent is going to take over and start making swaps.
02:11
We're going to be able to see our performance over time come up here on the chart.
02:15
We're going to be able to see what our current positions are, our trade log, and protection settings.
02:23
So let me show you an example of an already running pool, which is something that I deployed earlier today, which is Meteora.
02:33
You could see all of the tokens that I'm holding, the trade logs.
02:39
And as you can see, some of these are actually skipped.
02:42
The reason that they are skipped is based on our protection settings.
02:45
So I put the minimum swap threshold in terms of USDT to zero, so I should see none of these skips is based on the dollar figure.
02:56
And as you can see here Drift 0.06% is less than 2%.
03:01
The position have to at least move 2%.
03:03
It's called the band threshold in order for it to be considered significant.
03:07
And that's primarily to protect against wasteful trades, trades that usually the fee that you end up paying ends up being higher than the actual value of the trade, making you absolutely lose money.
03:21
So that's why that protection exists.
03:24
So this is really just a demo of how to put capital.
03:27
What I'm going to do is I'm going to withdraw this money, confirm.
03:32
And what happens now is that we've triggered a close position, trigger to initiate closing this pool.
03:40
We should be able to see it here in the logs.
03:43
Loaded.
03:44
Now we are swapping all of these two— these tokens, all of these positions back, and we should be able to see it deposited back into our wallet.
03:59
It's gonna take some time.
04:03
There we go.
04:04
Just now it's gonna take a little bit more time.
04:10
And yeah, in the meantime, why don't I show you this?
04:14
If you come to Create Portfolio You have a few options to create a portfolio on Avo.
04:19
The first one is a simple deployment.
04:23
You can supply a wallet address and you can deploy a— something called a wallet tracker agent.
04:27
And the wallet tracker agent takes the wallet as a portfolio, removes all of the scammy obvious tokens, such as like the ones that have failed certain, token contract, you know, or triggered token contract scam alerts in our system, as well as check it against the Jupiter Shield.
04:45
Once that passes, we have that curated list of tokens.
04:48
The agent decides, okay, I would like to keep these tokens, I would like to drop these tokens.
04:53
And from that list that is left, then we create 3 separate portfolios.
05:00
These are risk-based portfolios.
05:01
You have the degen, moderate, and guarded.
05:04
So if you go to back home, you will see that these 3 portfolios are based on minimum market cap, liquidity, and volume.
05:13
In this case, for Degen, it's $10K, $5K, $5K.
05:16
Moderate, you can see it's much higher.
05:18
Guarded is the highest.
05:20
But let's go back to create portfolio.
05:22
If you create on portfolio, you can supply the wallet here, give it a name, give it a description and name.
05:28
And then once you create— once you click on create agent, it would deploy it for you on Avo.
05:33
Why would people deploy on Avo?
05:35
For multiple reasons.
05:36
One, you just actually want to track that wallet.
05:39
And two, you actually earn fees.
05:42
You participate in the fees that the platform generates in case people choose to put deposit capital into your agent.
05:49
You will be sharing fees with the platform and— sorry, the platform will be sharing fees with you as a, as sort of a courtesy for deploying such, such tracker agents.
06:01
the other way is going to be by soon, which is through a UI where you would be able to select the allocation and the tokens, and then you would be able to create and manage that portfolio.
06:13
the third way, which is what we use for the indexes, is that if you come to our docs, there's the developer docs.
06:23
The simplest way is you can create a token— create a portfolio by calling the create portfolio endpoint, give gives you an IP— an ID, and you can take that ID and you can come down and you can pass it to the portfolio update endpoint.
06:36
And you could pass the CAs and the allocations.
06:40
Once you pass it, Avo takes care of the execution, the rebalancing, and as well, not just for the portfolio but also for the pools that are following your portfolio.
06:50
You also earn fees based on your deployment of your portfolio through the API.
06:57
So that's pretty much all I wanted to share.
07:00
I want to see if we already got to capital.
07:02
There we go, already updated.
07:03
We got the capital.
07:05
the poll has already been closed.
07:07
Let me find it.
07:09
It's one of these tabs.
07:12
maybe I'm just gonna go back to my— and there we go.
