Okay, so first up, let's take a look at analytics for a specific video.
00:04
So I've opened this video up, which I shared in the community, a few days ago, 11 days ago.
00:08
There's 90, eight views in total.
00:11
And then I can open up the analytics here to get a bigger picture.
00:16
Now we've actually only been tracking these full analytics, since January 30th.
00:23
So we saw 98 views on, the video down here.
00:27
But actually there's only been three views, in the last few days since we started, tracking, all of this.
00:35
So if you see that mismatch between the total views on a video and then these detailed, analytics.
00:41
That's why, so we've got the summary of your sort of core things up here.
00:45
Total views, unique viewers, watch time, percentage viewed, and then you get a visualization of engagement, how people are interacting with your video, over its duration, the views over time.
00:58
You can see, the last views on your video, the latest views on your video, and how far those individual viewers got.
01:07
So you can see that this person in India watched 86% of it, on, on mobile.
01:13
And you can see these two unidentified Tella users though, they, they got through 100% and 50% respectively.
01:21
You can also see the origin of the traffic.
01:24
So where people are coming from.
01:25
I shared this video in the community, so I would expect that that is, probably the main referrer in this case.
01:31
And I can also see the location of these viewers.
01:34
So I've got one here from the United States.
01:36
you can see, that that person was based in New York.
01:39
We've also got India, and then we've got French Polynesia.
01:44
Shout out to my compatriots from the South Pacific.
01:47
So that is analytics on a specific video, but we've also got analytics on all of your videos.
01:55
back in your workspace overview on the left here, you'll see this new option which when you click on that, you will see the analytics for all of your videos.
02:09
Again we get a summary of the sort of key stats up the top here.
02:16
Then we get some visualizations on views and engagement.
02:20
And then we drill down into some more specific info.
02:24
The top performing videos, the traffic sources, the top traffic sources, and the top locations.
02:32
you can drill down further to see a lot more a full ranking of your videos.
02:41
Same with your traffic sources, same with some of the locations.
02:44
There's a ton of really great information that you can find in here.
02:50
Again, we're still only tracking data from January 30th, so anything past that is not going to show up in here.
02:59
But over the next couple weeks you'll start to see this build up further and further and you'll get a more meaningful picture of how your videos are performing.
03:10
So that is the analytics overview.
03:12
You can also open up a specific video.
03:13
So if I grab this one, and then you can see those stats that we saw before on the view page, you can see them here for a specific video.
03:22
and then if you want to, you can then open that video to just refresh yourself, which video it's referring to.
03:32
Now the other really cool thing with analytics is that yes, you can look at a video, you can look at analytics on a specific video and you can look at analytics on all of your videos, but you can also look at analytics on a playlist.
03:48
So a really fun use case is this, which is I've got this old course.
03:53
So I made this course like two years ago.
03:56
So this doesn't get a lot of, doesn't get too many views these days.
04:01
but it does get some, and so I can open up the analytics for a playlist and I can see how that whole group of videos is doing, which is awesome.
04:12
So again, we're a little bit limited by the fact that this is only from the last few days, but I can see which is the top performing video.
04:24
Two, point one from the course, which is cool.
04:28
What is that?
04:29
Actually, if I open this up, what are we talking about in this one?
04:34
Your studio.
04:35
Cool, nice.
04:37
we can see how that individual video is doing.
04:40
if we jump back to the analytics for the playlist, you can see the referrers.
04:44
Again.
04:45
So these videos are embedded in a notion page.
04:48
So that makes sense that that's the, the main referrer and I guess occasionally people are sharing these as well.
04:54
I can also see the top locations.
04:57
Interesting that the UK is the, is the top performer here.
05:01
really really neat stuff.
05:04
you can also look at the engagement for the, the whole playlist and the views over time.
05:10
So if you use playlists this is now going to give you really great visibility into that category of videos and and how they're doing.
05:19
If you're sharing groups of videos as a playlist as an online course just like I am here, this is a gold mine of, of info for how those videos are performing.
05:32
If you share videos with groups of videos and players with a customer then you know you are onboarding them to a new tool or a service of yours then this is gonna give you insight into whether your client is engaged with the content or information you are training them on.
05:49
So that is analytics, it's still in beta.
05:54
We're still working out a bunch of stuff.
05:56
It's probably some bugs here and there but it's, it's there now for all of you to play around with.
06:03
Right now analytics is available to everybody but there are some analytics views which are paywalled for premium users only.
06:12
The more advanced stuff drilling down into the detail where you can see all of the videos in your account and how they're ranked, all of the views and where they're coming from.
06:23
So if you want to get access to all of that switch to premium and you'll be able to get the full picture of all of the usage data, viewing data for your videos in Tella.
06:35
So that is analytics the beta release.
06:37
Let us know what you think, tell us how we can make it better.
06:39
the team are basically on standby to iterate on this before we announce this publicly in the next week or so.
06:48
See ya.
