BeCause - Responding to an assigned data request or framework

Welcome to because my name is Robin.

In this video, I will walk you through how BeCause functions as the main sustainability data hub for your hotel.

Specifically in this video, we'll walk through how you make sure that you're up to date with any data request or anything assigned to you from, for example, the corporate office.

This makes sure that you're up to date when it comes to, any sustainability data reporting any upcoming RFP season, making sure that your data is up to date so the corporate office has full overview of how you're doing.

So let's jump into the platform as a hotel.

Let's say I'm a general manager, hotel manager, director of sales.

This is what I'll see on the hotel profile when I log in.

So once you're logged in, this is the get started page.

In order to make sure that you're up to date on any data requests that you have, most of your work will be done in the data collection area.

So if I click to data collection, go to my data collection.

Here you have full overview of what you currently have in progress of being filled out.

So you can see your current frameworks, you can see any completed frameworks you have here as well.

In this case you can see I have two frameworks assigned to me.

One is for HRS and one is for the GBTA standard.

You can see here that they're assigned and the type of framework it is.

So in this case it's RFP frameworks.

You can see the specific reporting year or reporting period, any deadlines there are on the data request and then you can see your progress in case the corporate office has filled out pre filled answers for you.

That could be for example answering yes to that you have a sustainability policy.

Those will be pre filled here and you can always see your progress right here in the overview.

So for hrs I can see that I have 6 out of 39 filled out and that I need to complete the rest.

So let's get started on that.

I click open and here I have full overview of all the different topics within the specific framework or questionnaire.

I can click into each of the topics individually and see the questions connected to each topic.

Or I can toggle on the list type view and you will see everything in one go.

From here I basically open up each of the subtopics.

I look at the question and the data that is asked of me.

I answer the question And always remember to click Save down here.

And then I can see my progress both on the subtopic level but also on the full framework level.

And that makes sure that I always have full visibility of how far I am and what I need to get done.

On some questions there will be it will be asked of you to potentially upload specific files for supporting proof.

You can do that here.

So here I can simply drag and drop files into the little box here.

I can also omit the question if it's not applicable to me.

But then I do have to give an exact reason as to why I haven't completed that question.

On the question level you also see a change log.

So here I can see what has been changed at the question level and I can see specifically who has changed something on the question level.

And that just makes sure that you always have full visibility into a full audit trail of your answers and what you have changed.

overall, once I've completed everything I mark this as complete and once I mark it complete under data collection, it will show up under completed frameworks if I need to use the data, existing data on the platform because functions as your data hub.

So you always have full visibility into what you've previously done for previous years.

If I need to use the data externally for any reporting reasons, maybe you have a client that is asking for specific data.

You can always export the results here that will export the results and you will receive it in your downloads and you can see it as an Excel file basically.

Once I'm done with all the questions that have been assigned to me in either framework, I can do.

I can mark it complete in one of two ways.

Either I can mark it complete within the framework, as you see right here, or I can mark it complete on the card on the data collection overview.
