Introducing Tella's Document Generation Feature

Tella introduces Document Generation, a new experimental feature that allows you to create text-based content from your videos. This feature is live for everyone and can be used to generate summaries, documentation, or other written content. You can enable or disable this feature for individual videos or account-wide.

I've just sent out this recap of all the stuff we shipped in December.

but I have also just released a, another new feature, experimental one called Document Generation.

it's live for everybody.

You can use this today.

but I guess I'm making this video to sort of get your take on this.

you should also go and use it for a bit and then come back and tell me what you think of this and where you think this would be be useful.

But just trying some stuff is, is normally the easiest way to do it.

So document generation lives up here, in on your view page.

So if you are sharing videos with others, then this is a relevant feature for you.

If you're just exporting videos at a Tella and this is not going to be a huge thing, maybe so click on this.

and then you get this little input to create text based content from your video.

This could be documentation, this could be some other written content.

It could just be ideas and we give you a few options here.

Now you can use this, but also your viewers can use this.

So if you share the link then they can use this to turn it into something that they can use something and do something with.

So if I wanted to summarize, this, this video I can hit summary and then that will generate a little written summary for me in a moment.

So you get this document, you can download it as a text file or you can copy the text and put that into another LLM or save it somewhere, whatever you want.

So it's pretty simple at the moment.

I think some things that I'd like to already iterate on is making these more relevant.

This is kind of catch all and maybe this stuff isn't relevant to you so figuring out how to make these more relevant.

It's on by default for new videos.

So when you make a video you'll see this switched on here.

for a new video you can switch that off by coming up here and switching off document generation here.

and we also have the account level setting.

If so if you are like, no, I don't want this at all, or I don't want this by default at least then, you can go to your preferences and you can switch off document generation here.

you can still override that on an individual video if you want a, specific video to have that.
