of how to test your workflows in Moxie.
00:04
So I know that my screen looks really crazy right now.
00:08
It's split into three.
00:10
this is not how I recommend you test.
00:13
It's easiest if you've got two monitors.
00:15
but for the purposes of screen recording, I wanted to be able to show you all three views that you're going to need to look at, over the course of doing this.
00:25
So, let me introduce you to what these three windows are.
00:29
So on the left we've got Moxie.
00:31
That one's pretty easy to see, in the center.
00:34
And you know what, actually I'm just going to change this to make a little bit more, like differentiation.
00:41
So we're going to put Moxie in the middle.
00:43
and so then on the left of Moxie.
00:46
Oops.
00:48
There we go, on the left of Moxie.
00:50
this is my business email account.
00:53
And so when you're going through testing, you're going to want to have access to your business email, but you're also going to want to have access to your personal email.
01:01
And so that's what you see on the right, the one with the pink flowers, that's my personal email.
01:05
And so what this is allowing me to do is to say that, okay, any emails that I received to my personal email, the one with the pink flowers, those are emails that my client would be getting.
01:16
Any real scenario versus this test one.
01:19
And then any of the emails that I get to my, business email account are ones that I would be getting as the business owner.
01:28
So that's what we're going to be doing here.
01:31
So the first thing that you need to pull up is actually going to be your inquiry form.
01:36
So whether that's called your new lead form, website contact form, new inquiry, whatever you've got that named, you are going to, go and get that.
01:45
And so you can go into your maxi, locate your form form builder.
01:50
So that's going to be under Forms and then Form Builder, and then go and locate that form.
01:55
that is going to be on your website.
01:58
Click Share.
01:59
And then we're going to get the direct link to that form.
02:02
So I'm going to copy that.
02:03
and then I'm going to leave this and we're not making any changes here.
02:06
I'm just going to go back to my home screen.
02:08
Then over here on my personal window, I'm going to open up a new tab to go to my contact form and then I'm going to fill in all of the fields that the client would be required to fill in.
02:23
So this is a test account I've been using anyway and I'm going to select, which, excuse me, which service I'm doing.
02:35
So yeah, filling in any required fields and then hitting submit.
02:41
Okay.
02:41
It doesn't like my phone number.
02:42
It never does.
02:49
Oops, There we go.
02:54
It likes that better.
02:55
So now our inquiry form has been received and I'm going to hop back into my email.
02:59
And so now what I will see in both of my inboxes is that I now have a new email that a new form submission has been received.
03:09
The reason that you see multiple of these is because, because, I've been testing this multiple times.
03:14
So you can see these are from two hours ago.
03:16
You'll just see one new one.
03:18
and then I'm going to go back and Sabrina, and then over here I'm going to refresh as well.
03:28
And now you can see that as the client I've received a new email telling me what I need to do next and so I'm going to follow the prompts.
03:37
So that's what you're going to do.
03:38
And so now that I have that new person in Moxie, I'm going to go to my client list and I'm going to see a new client here.
03:46
So I know that it's this one.
03:48
and when I go to opportunities I'm going to see that I have a new opportunity down here again, I know this window doesn't look great, and you see a lot of things here and that's because I've been doing lots of workflow testing here.
04:00
but so my most recent one is going to be this one here at the bottom.
04:04
You can see that that is today at the current time.
04:08
So now I can click into this opportunity and it's going to pull up all of the information about it.
04:13
I can go through my notes, tab attachments, tab activity, lead info.
04:18
and then the big one here is Automations.
04:21
And so now you'll see that this is where we can see what our Automations have done.
04:27
if there are any workflow errors it will say error and it will tell you what caused the error.
04:32
if we are waiting for something, so you know, in Moxie we can say that we need to wait for a form submission or for a meeting to be scheduled or for a meeting to take place.
04:41
And so if we're waiting on any of that, it'll say what specifically we are waiting for.
04:47
and so right now what this is waiting for is for me to schedule this call.
04:52
but you know if I don't schedule this call, this workflow has a built in reminder.
04:58
So if I do that then I can click skip forward, and that is going to go to the next step in the workflow so that I can see that happen.
05:09
So here in just a moment, this next email popped in and so you can see that that's what that follow up sequence would be.
05:18
Now if I want to move forward like the client is actually doing what they're supposed to do, that I'm going to go ahead and click Schedule call and I'm going to pick a time on my own calendar and I am going to reserve it and fill in whatever information it has required, question schedule.
05:36
And now in doing that what we will see is that we will get a confirmation email over here.
05:42
and so see there's our confirmation email and then when I come back over here once I exit the I had to exit the automation but then I click the opportunity again and come back in and now you can see it's waiting until that time that I selected.
05:59
So I don't want to wait for that meeting that I scheduled to take place.
06:02
So I'm going to again click Schedule Skip forward.
06:05
And so this is what the entire process of testing is going to look like.
06:10
You're going to be toggling between your business email, your personal email and your moxie.
06:16
To see the moxie is going to tell you what should be happening and then your emails are going to tell you what action you need to be taking.
06:25
So your workflows have been set up so that no matter what, whether it's you or whether it's your clients, someone is very clearly informed of what needs to happen next.
06:35
So if you're like hey, I don't know, like nothing is happening, then chances are you are either in an error or in a waiting period.
06:42
And so anytime you see that you're in a waiting period and I'm going to show you one more thing, whenever we pop back in here and click on Automations it says waiting.
06:50
So if we're ever in a waiting period then you can click skip forward.
06:55
If it says error you can try to track that down yourself or if you are within your support period you can reach out to me and I will explain blur that for you.
07:03
and then from there other than that it'll just be running so that is the quick, and dirty of how to test your workflows.
07:11
This will be a long process, but the more that you do this, the more that you buy in, the more that you invest in this, the more you're, going to understand your own system, and you're going to be a lot happier with your maxi setup.
07:24
So that's all of my recommendations for now.
07:26
Go ahead, dive in, get started, have patience, and know that at the end, it'll all be worth it.
