Hi, I'm Sam, one of the partners at RunPoint Partners and thanks for considering applying to RunPoint.

we're excited to talk to you, just want to give you a little bit of a lay of the land what you need to know about applying here.

First and foremost we are fully remote and so videos like this are kind of central to how we operate.

So the number one thing that we're going to look for and that is a non negotiable is a two minute video.

We use Tella, really like it but it could be loom or whatever, of you just kind of walking through and saying hey, this is how I work.

These are the coding tools that I use, these are some personal projects that I've done and what we're really looking for here is can you create a decent quality video?

Are you somewhat articulate and.

Is your passion for AI coming through?

Because that trifecta that's on our website, business acumen or business ac, Technical acumen, business sense and, and passion for AI are genuine.

We, we really need all those things and so that two minute video is the fastest way that we found to filter through those things.

Beyond that we will look at your resume.

Not everybody who has worked here has worked in a large enterprise, but certainly that's, that's helpful.

A lot of our clients will need integrations into big existing enterprise systems and so depending on the role.

That may or may not be a hard requirement.

But if you are excellent with Claude code and you can talk to clients and you have a decent business sense, it's definitely worth applying regardless of what it says on your resume.

The other thing to be aware of is we start everybody as a contractor on some low risk project.

Almost always it's an internal project.

Build out something for our RunPoint operating system which runs the entire company, kind of like a CRM on steroids and.

That can quickly turn into a full time role.

But just want to set your expectations that the first thing we would do is look at your video, check out your resume, probably do some AI scoring on that with a human in the loop.

And then after we have a conversation with you, if it feels right, will immediately say, hey, you know, consider us a client, we're going to pay you obviously, but consider us a client and build something useful for our internal operating system.

We'll be evaluating how good of a job can you do at solving the business problems with the code, not just coding something that, that we ask you to code.
