Streamline Your Mornings with the NOAN Assistant ☀️

So I want to just take you through my day of how I use NOAN to run NOAN.

we run our own business with our own platform.

My day always starts the same.

So when I'm making my morning coffee, which I've just done, I drop into the NOAN assistant and I'll either do this on mobile while I'm making the coffee and then I'll sit down at my desk and I'll just hit morning.

And then one of my memory workflows run.

Right?

So memory workflows are, natural language workflows that will, run for you in the background and return what you need.

So in this instance, what my memory workflow does is it analyzes my emails every day.

It gives me key updates.

I need to know if there's any emails from my contacts in NOAN network.

It will highlight those and make those a priority.

And then it basically breaks down tasks that I need to do for the day.

That is my start.

I don't really look at my email inbox anymore.

I used to wake up and check it.

Don't need to.

I get the brief I need in seconds.

Now I'm immediately onto my second task of the day.

Actually.

We are using a referral platform called Dub.

We really like it.

We need to integrate Dub into, NOAN so that you can refer straight from NOAN So what we're going to do is I'm going to create a quick GitHub ticket.

Write me a GitHub ticket for integrating Dub referral platform into NOAN.

We need to make it seamless and it's available in two places.

In the account settings you can see, your full dashboard, that's embedded via dub.

And then across the product there's a little button that tells you you can earn if you refer.

Here are the documents for Dubb, for developers and then I've dropped the link in there, and so no one's going to write my GitHub ticket.

I make most of our GitHub tickets for features with the assistant.

There's very few I don't do with the assistant, because it's just so much easier.

So here's my ticket.

I am going to take this and drop this straight into GitHub.

This, is going to be one of our priorities as we're looking to scale.

We know that integrated referral is quite important.

So I going to take this out, I'm going to drop it into GitHub and we're going to be good to go.

Now, we've just shipped a new feature, that was in beta to everybody.

We've just released it.

now we have a full suggestions hub which has loads of suggestions on how to use the assistant and what you can do with it, including three of my favorite memories if you remember that morning.

One that's there.

You can take these now.

so we've just released this.

So what I've done is I've jumped into NOAN and done a quick change log post and I do this every time we release, any new features.

So for example here, I've said I need you to write a change log post on the fact suggestions are now available in the assistant.

I just talk to the assistant using Willow Voice.

most of our users are using Willow Voice or Whisper Flow.

So I've just articulated what I wanted to create and now I have got my change log post here and then I've just jumped across into NOAN and published that in the changelog and that is now live.

So I, I've got that up done in a matter of seconds, nice and easy and I'm good to go on to my next task.

Just come out of a couple of meetings and I need to quickly send out an email to our, signups to our AI native founders bootcamp.

we have a guest who is, coming on and I've just used the assistant to do this.

I use the assistant do all of our emails.

So anything you get from NOAN is done in a matter of seconds.

I've asked it to search the Internet, for the company that, the founder is part of who's joining me, Grant.

It's come back with all my details that I need.

I've then asked it for a quick bio on Grant and it's, it's added that and at the same time I've actually been sent another guest bio who's going to be joining us.

So I've taken that and I said, can you combine the two into an announcement?

I can take these, I can drop these into our WhatsApp group.

so everyone knows who's coming.

And then I've also just said, can you do an email to anyone who signed up, to let them know Grants can be joining us and what we're going to be talking through.

And here's my email here.

And then I've just taken this and I've just sent that to everybody who is coming.

So dead easy, dead simple.

And if you look at it like these are just natural language instructions, I'm talking to the assistant here.

you don't need to know prompting to use NOAN.

This is really easy, really simple.

I've got the marketing materials I need at my fingertips and they're, they're good to go.

So one thing I do find is like, if I want to tweak this, change it.

I can always use and switch to the different tones that we have available.

or I can just ask the assistant to make changes or at any point I can send this to Create.

Now, I don't need to with this, but if I wanted to edit it, I could send it to create and edit that answer.

and then I could tweak it.

I do that a lot with like, longer, longer form content that I might be using and creating.

Now I meet a lot of people who I need to add to my network.

NOAN as got no network fully built in.

So that might be investors, partners, potential customers.

whenever I meet them, I add them into my network.

So their context is always there.

I've just had a meeting with someone and I've added them to the network.

I just want to show you just how easy this is because I've just said added contact to my network.

I put their role in there and then added a memo of how I've met them.

And their details have been added straight away by the assistant Now what I also wanted to do was tag this individual because they work in a particular sector.

So I've asked the assistant to add a new tag.

and they've signed up to NOAN, so they've tagged them as a subscriber.

And then I've wanted to tag them based on their sector.

So I've created a new tag.

Cause I didn't have to have this.

And none has gone and created that.

And then I've changed the color cause I want this to stand out.

And then I've just added a description of when to use it.

and then finally I've just asked the assistant to add that to this contact's details.

That's me done in a couple of seconds.

I've gone from adding my contact to, tagging them in just a few simple commands.

And so easy.

This would have taken a bit of time, traditionally, but it's just dead simple.

I'm working with my partner here.

And then that's now in network.

So for anyone across the team, if they've got a meeting with that individual or if I want to recall, a conversation with them, all of that context is there and available for me.

And I take all of my granola meeting notes.

So that meeting I just had, my granola meeting notes have gone straight into this contacts, details in network.

They're then available me to recall at any time, whenever I need.

Now I'm back on GitHub tickets.

this is quite a big part of my job when we're leading product.

I've quickly done one because we're changing the way you sign up.

we're going to give you a lot more value.

You can drop your URL in, on the home page and then we're going to connect that straight into the app.

So it's going to extract your facts, it's going to tell you what kind of value you can get from NOAN and then you can click through and and so I've just quickly articulated, by voice what I want my ticket to be and then it's given me a ticket here on exactly what we need and then I've just dropped that straight in.

So something that would traditionally have taken me time to Write with a GitHub ticket because the NOAN assistant has access to understand all of our features.

all of that is stored as facts.

This is done in seconds.

So that is something that traditionally would have sucked a bit of time out.

Easy.

just a quick 10 second voice prompt and I'm done.

Now I'm actually starting to find the suggestions that are getting served up really useful.

And I'm just going to try this one here so I've triggered that suggestion and what this has done is it's gone and analyzed some documents that we'd recently added to give me kind of the top 20 assistant needs that people have.

And this is super useful.

So this is based on data that our data scientist has uploaded on how people are using the product.

This is really, really useful for me.

I can see here immediately where the unmet needs are.

a couple of these things we're dealing with already.

but there's some other stuff we could kind of start to evolve.

And from this I'll probably save this as a note.

So can you add that as a note?

Because I want to come back to this later.

and notes are a place to store ideas because what they don't do is get confused with your facts.

Right.

So the assistant always knows the facts of your business.

I'm going to add this as a note because I want to come back this later because I feel like there's features we could develop, but also marketing I could create to help people based on the needs that they have when they're working with the assistant.

And now I've got that saved as a note.

I just want to make sure that, I come back to it later.

So I'm going to add a task quickly add a task to come back to this later to look for potential marketing opportunities from this research.

So Known is now going to make a task for me.

I use it for all my task management.

I'm just going to open the task manager here and you'll see some of the things I've already got in there.

And there's my task being prepared.

And there it is.

Review the user assistant needs and come back to it later.

So I'll come back to this at a later date and create some marketing.

I just got off a call with a user who was, doing something.

We see a lot actually.

They're using NOAN, like Chat cbt, right where they're coming in and they're trying to have a nice conversation with them back and forth and tell loads of stuff about their company.

NOAN's not designed to do that.

It's designed like an employee that knows everything about your business and it's waiting for instructions, it's basically waiting for commands.

and as a result you need to be super clear on, on how you're articulating what you need.

So we just had a call on this and the one thing it made me realize is we need to do a webinar for our users.

So I want a really nice, short, succinct description, for this webinar and then I'm going to launch it on Crowdcast, our webinar platform.

So I'm just going to ask this for the assistant.

Now, can you give me a succinct description for a new webinar?

Best practices for working with the assistant.

In the description, I want you to cover, what we will do in the webinar, which will include talking through best practices of how to instruct the assistant, the semantics to use and how to trigger all of its various tooling, to get the best, most accurate output.

Now I'll use the assistant for all of our marketing, everything I need to do, from descriptions to emails to articles.

So now the assistant has context to the conversation we're in, it becomes really easy to create everything I need for this.

Right, I'm going to get this out and that's my next task done for the day.

Now an investor has put time on my calendar to chat tomorrow and they are interested in our next round and as a result I've used one of my other favorite natural language workflows which I do every time I'm meeting with an investor I've just simply said investor check and then I've dropped the URL in of the investor.

Now what happens here is the NOAN assistant goes and searches that investor looks at its portfolio, analyzes its thesis, looks at our facts which it obviously knows and assesses whether we're a good fit for them and then gives me a brief ahead of the investor meeting and any potential watch outs are included in that brief that they might have anything I should consider going into it.

This is incredibly powerful for me and I use this a lot when meeting with investors dead simple, dead easy would have taken me time before done in seconds.

so that's my morning.

You can see how much work I've managed to get done during that time.

My calendar has been stacked with meetings still, as you'd expect from any early stage founder.

But all of that I've managed to do while working with the assistant.

And if you look back across my morning, I've really not had to give it many instructions and the reason is it knows my facts and it can execute for me across the NOAN platform.
