When I work with nonprofits, that's one of the first questions I ask.

Some nonprofits don't even have a strategic business plan.

They might have goals, and they might have some plans tied to different departments in the organization.

but some nonprofits don't even have an overall strategic business plan.

A strategic calendar helps move your leadership team towards that.

It helps your team think about what are we trying to accomplish this year, when are we going to do it, what are we going to prioritize?

That's at the heart of a strategic calendar.

A strategic calendar really helps the comms person because it allows you to communicate strategically instead of reactively.

And when you learn to communicate strategically, That is what will help you be seen as a strategic partner rather than just a service department.
