When you embed a product demo or a tutorial into your website or docs, you want to be able to capture your viewers attention as best as you can by putting the most interesting thing on as the thumbnail, just like this.
00:13
Here I can see Robert, the founder, and I can see the product ui and I want to know more.
00:17
I want to play.
00:18
But when I play this video, it starts with Robert doing an introduction and setting some context.
00:26
And and normally this would be where the animated thumbnail gets generated from.
00:32
And that's not the most interesting thing, just to see someone talking or something that isn't really the most interesting part of the video.
00:40
And so now in Tella, you can pick any point in your video and make that your animated thumbnail.
00:45
So you do the best job you can to get people to watch your video.
00:49
Let me show you how this works in the app.
00:51
once you've made your video, you can just head up to the settings here, and then scroll to the bottom and you get the thumbnail option.
00:58
You can choose to upload a thumbnail or pick a video frame, and then you can just set the timestamp for where you want your animated thumbnail to be generated from.
01:07
So I've got this set to five seconds, I can type in ten.
01:10
And then, you give that a few seconds to generate, and you get a new thumbnail.
01:14
So just go and find the most interesting part of your video, put the timestamp in here, and then that will update.
01:20
And then wherever you embed this, or if you share the video as a link, that is what your viewers will see and interact with first.
I love you let us choose the details 🤗
