What makes a good IMMA member

So what makes a good IMA member?

I could start to answer that question.

do you come to Emma with the spirit of generous reciprocity?

so you expect to create abundance by creating abundance for everybody.

You're responsible for how much you show up and showing up when you need the help and telling us when.

When you need.

Need our help, because we're not psychic.

and you also are responsible, like Joshua says, for, for not overstuffing yourself, for making sure that it's the right thing for you and making sure that you don't give yourself.

Like, if I don't eat everything at the buffet, I didn't get my money's worth.

That is absolutely not true.

In business, you've got to focus, focus your energy.

So what's most important at that moment.

So I think that helps as well.

but generally, I think kindness and just everybody kind of like being invested in each other's future and like, wanting the best for each other is the thing I see the most of.

That I love.

I'm sure that other people have other perspectives.

I think Ariel hit the spot with the kindness.

I think IMA members generally, are really supportive.

It's quite unusual.

And it's lovely, that so many people are so kind, thoughtful, and willing to give their, their advice and their own experience.

And also I think we're quite an honest bunch in the fact that if we're finding things hard, it's okay to share.

it's okay to have down days, it's okay to have great days, and we help each other and celebrate those good times too.

Nice.

Yeah, I think I would, add to that in that, yeah, we're both an honest.

But I also think that we're, all of us can be quite humble in general, individually.

So what helps to be in a community is actually to be, having like, very generous mirrors, like the Mirror, mirror on the wall kind of thing to actually show you, like, what your strengths are and what like, goodness or gold there already is in the work that you're doing and to elevate that.

So I think, showing up with things you're maybe not sure about, and having them received by a community that wants to kind of strengthen it and show what's already good, This is a space where you can show things that are like very half baked and like, tentative and you're not sure about and you'll get some like, confidence in them, Yeah.

I think also when you show those half big things, it gives you a chance to like, kind of learn from other people and get that abundance that you get in community.

I really, I really love that piece, like, just being able to like, build it together.
