How to remove a member from your Tella workspace 🧑‍💼

Hey everyone.

Johnny here from Tella.

In this video I'll walk you through how you can remove a member from your Tella workspace.

In order to do this you'll need to be an owner in your workspace.

So the first thing you want to do is go into Settings.

So you can do that by clicking on your workspace name up here, then Settings.

Then you'll want to click Members and all you'll need to do is click Remove next to the member that you want to remove.

And once you've done that.

So if I do that you will see two options.

one of the options is to transfer this user's videos that they recorded in your workspace to another user in your workspace, then remove them.

A second option is to delete their videos from your workspace and then remove them.

Or the third option is to just simply remove them if they don't have any recorded videos in your workspace.

to demo the first option here which is to transfer transfer their videos to another member.

I'm just going to select myself in this dropdown to transfer videos to.

Once I click Transfer and Remove, it'll automatically remove them from your workspace and transfer the videos they recorded in your workspace to the designated user, in this case my main account.

and for the second option I'm just going to click Remove here.

I'll just be able to delete all the videos that this user has recorded in my workspace and remove them.

their videos will be deleted and they'll be removed from your workspace.

So if I refresh now, we'll see that we just have one more user and myself in this workspace.

So the third case is if this user hasn't recorded any videos in your workspace and if you click Remove there, you're not going to be given pop up to select any of those options.

They're just going to be removed from your workspace.

And just remember that whenever you remove a member from your workspace, your billing will be prorated.

So you won't be paying extra for that license anymore and any applicable credit will be applied to your next invoice.

So it's as simple as that.
