Negotiation Cockpit: Negotiate Directly within Voyager🚢

In this video, we'll go over negotiating directly with a third party within Voyager through the negotiation cockpit.

The first thing you need to do is send claim package access Here.

You pick what counterparty their email.

Once you've sent this access, you can edit emails.

Adding or removing emails.

Your counterparty will receive an email from Voyager portal with the standard demurrage statement attached and a link for the counterclaim.

That link will take them to a similar looking Voyager page where they can see the claim that you sent to them, the details, the calculations specific additions and deductions to each of the port calls that make up that final calculation.

The counterparty can go through and accept or reject all of the individual additions and deductions.

So let's say I will accept these two by accepting the check mark turns green and this one but I'm going to reject this time and I have the option for a dispute reason and let's say it's valid nor so the start time is actually a different time.

let's propose the 26th of April 2025 and then any additional notes that you want to add.

LA can begins April 26th and then if you have any supporting documents you can also upload it there.

Now you can see an open negotiation that's pending and you can see your comments here.

I'll accept this last one.

As soon as they make changes, updates will push through to Voyager.

If I go back into my original claim and I go into negotiate and click on the negotiation tab I'll see those open negotiations from the counterparty I can see the port call that it applies to the change of time and specifically that it was a start time and the original edition that it's applying to and who made the comment.

I can easily find that open negotiation and I can accept or reject it and add new comments.

Maybe I can reject it which is going to send it back to them If I go back into theirs.

I now see this is a closed negotiation.

I could have also added a comment before closing that would appear.

Let's show that let's reject this one.

A factor potentially.

Let's say it should only be a 50% factor.

This isn't actually a weather but let's say it is for this example 50% factor.

Now I have a new open negotiation.

If I go back into the main Voyager page and refresh I will see a new open negotiation.

This has a new port call and now it's the factor.

Let's say it is a 75% factor, And I'm going to reject and instead.

I'm going to make the Change per factor of 75.

The counterparty will now see that I rejected the 50% factor, but I have applied a 75% factor.

All of this is impacting the final demurrage number.

As the counterparty let's say that I accept this.

I I can go ahead and complete the negotiations and now the claim has been accepted and updated.

From the Voyager side, I see that the complete negotiation is now grayed out.

If I go back into the claim, my claim has already automatically been settled at the new demerge amount.
