I'm a senior product designer and I spend most of my time designing products that technically work but don't convert and they don't scale as well as they should.

Usually this has got nothing to do with the tech, but rather the fact that users are struggling, to understand the product quickly, to see why it's worth paying for and why it's worth sticking with.

So in this two minute video I'm going to walk you through how I help SaaS companies and product teams improve conversions, reduce churn and help them grow their accounts through better product design.

So when I speak with SaaS founders, What they actually say to me is things like people are dropping off, trials are just not converting, users are churning before they really understand or get the product.

We know that there's more value in the product, but customers are just not finding it.

So that's where I come in.

Basically I help users find value faster, stick around longer and discover more reasons to upgrade.

So I been doing this long Enough to know that the same problems just repeat, And because I work exclusively with B2B SaaS companies, I don't need weeks to get up to speed with things.

I know where these products usually break And where small design changes can have a big commercial impact.

so let me tell you a bit about how it works then.

the way I work is intentionally straightforward.

So it's a very simple and flexible process where we focus on parts of the product that matter most.

Right now.

so we focus on where users are getting stuck, where they're dropping off, why they aren't seeing any value.

and then we design solutions around tackling some of these big core problems.

So normally to begin with that might be onboarding first use experience some of the core flows within the product, maybe some of the new features you've been working on recently.

and then we'll validate and we'll iterate so we'll review the work together, we'll make sure it holds up, we'll do some testing and some sense checking And we might go through a number of different iterations and then we'll hand things off to the development team.

We'll make sure that they understand the designs, the rationale behind them, and then they can go ahead and build and ship what we are looking to improve.

So One of the reasons why I see product teams struggling is because the friction within the product has just built up over time and it's just compounded and then that's had an impact on reducing their conversions.

Their churn has gone up, and those that are using the product are not getting the most out of it.

And reducing that friction within the product is where design helps pay for itself.
