Automate Lacan Calculations for Port Calls 🚢

In this video we'll talk about the Laycan contract configuration feature our nor tender happens outside of Laycan.

We can see that easily with the icon at the top of the page that states that the nor tender date is not within the Laycan range.

We have a new feature now that allows us to actually configure the automatic calculations to take this into account, automatically improving accuracy and efficiency.

In this case we've created a slightly complex clause as an example in this contract it states that if nor tendered happens before Laycan and all fast happens after the commencement of Laycan but all fast happens before 6am Then lay time starts at load commence.

As a result in this case where nor tendered happens before the commencement of Laycan on December 11 and all fast occurs after the commencement but before 6am we will see that late time should commence at load commence.

If I run the automatic calculations it now does that logic for me.
