And in today's video, we'll be going over how to log into the website, update your profile and add additional members to your account.

Let's get started.

On your community's website.

In the upper right hand corner, click the login link.

Here, you'll enter the email address you were registered with and your password.

If you don't remember your password or haven't set one up yet, simply click the Forgot Password link.

You'll be asked to enter your email address, and we'll send you a message where you can reset your password.

Back on the login page, let's enter our credentials.

As a note, after you have entered your password, you can click the Reveal link right next to the password field to see exactly what you've typed in.

That way, you can make sure you don't have any accidental typos.

When you're ready, click the login button.

For this next part, I'm going to take you over to an example website to show you how you can update your profile and account.

You'll see welcome and then your name in the upper right hand corner.

If you click on the down arrow icon you'll see a menu appear.

In here we'll click Member Settings this is where you can update your profile.

So if you want to change your name, update your email, or add or update a cell phone number, you can make that change here.

Under the Profile tab you can add a profile photo.

This is what will appear on directory pages.

You can also add some additional information about you to be displayed on the Resident Directory page.

Under the Password tab you can also your password if needed.

And then under Contact you can change your contact preferences.

These are the default ones that will be selected for you, but you can update these at any time.

Under the Privacy tab you can also decide what information you do or do not want to be displayed on a directory page.

For instance, you can choose to hide your email address or your cell phone.

If you're in a leadership role like on a board or a committee.

Like on the board or a committee, you can also choose to hide or or display a different email or cell phone than what is on your regular profile.

So for instance, if I was on the board, I could display an email address that is relevant to that position.

For any changes made here or anywhere else in your member settings, be sure to click the Save button before continu.

Now that we've made updates to our member settings, let's update the account which represents the household.

So again we'll click our name in the upper right of the website and choose Account Settings from the drop down menu.

Here you can update your address or add another one.

Under the Members tab, you can also add additional members who live within your household, so that could be a partner, a relative, a child, or even a pet.

Under the Privacy tab, you can also choose what information you do or do not want to display on a directory page.

So you could choose to hide your home phone number.

If you've added one, you can your address or even hide your account completely from the directory page.

Also, if needed, say you move out of the community or no longer want to be on the website, you can delete your account at any time from here.

Back on your community's website after you've logged in you'll have access to the pages that include the padlock icon.

These are password restricted so you will need to be logged in to view them.
