Payments: Connecting Stripe Accounts to Golfify

Hey everyone.

James here from Golfify.

So the first step to enabling payments for your event is to link your Golfify account to a Stripe account.

Stripe is a third party payment processor and basically they will process all the payments and the money you collect from Golfify will go directly into your own Stripe account.

So you can see the transactions in there.

so to enable this connection you can either go to the Settings icon from the home screen and then link Stripe account.

It's going to come up with some information that you can press Continue.

That's going to give you two options to link your Stripe account.

So if you already have a Stripe account, go ahead and log into your dashboard and find the account number and you can enter that in here.

So the account id, I should say enter that in there and then that's going to take you through to an authorization on browser.

And the other method is to create a new Stripe account from scratch and that's just going to launch a new Stripe account, onboarding session in a separate browser and you go ahead and complete the onboarding and then it will bring you back to Golfify.

So they're the two options.

You can also find this screen inside the Create Event flow.

So if I just go to a new event and then if I just you can see we've got this new option here called registration and payments.

So when you tap that you can see it says connect your Stripe account.

It won't allow you to set an event entry price until you connect that Stripe account.

So you can tap that and go through to the same flow that we just discovered.

So once you complete that will take you to a separate browser window and once you complete that it will bring you back to Golfify and your account will be connected.
