Multi-Currency Management Made Easy 🌍

Today I want to discuss Multi Currency.

We just deployed this newest update to allow agencies to effectively manage their agency within a number of other currencies.

Of course, if you have any other currencies that you'd like for us to add, please let us know.

It's as simple as allowing the main agency that you have to view all of its information in segments.

So basically the dashboard and the clients and the shortcuts are all going to be shared.

All of its information but specific areas of the system, for example trips and invoices and financial will be completely separated by the currency that's enabled on that page.

This will allow us to not need to reconcile individual transactions about what the currency rate was at that time, which would be very difficult to manage.

So I'll show you here.

In Settings you could click over to Agency, click over to the edit and then by Settings you now have a new feature called Default currency.

So let's say this was set up as GBP and you press submit.

So now when I click on new invoice, now that it's gbp, you'll be able to simply do everything in gbp.

Now once you save it, for example test then you click on Save.

When you click over to invoices you'll see this one new invoice that you have now.

You'll notice over here that any of the previous invoices that you have are only accessible when you click into USD.

Now that could be confusing.

many of our agencies have told us that they're doing at least 90 to 95% in one currency and a few in another currency or a small percentage.

So our plan is to have a global search icon over here that when you click and you look for that person, whether it's PNR or it's the name of the person or any of the features, or tags or anything that would allow us to search for that particular invoice, you'll be able to see a list of any of the currencies and you'll be able to click into it right away.

This way you'll be able to know what is in which on the system.

This is a really great feature.

Keep in mind a couple of things.

Number one is while we work on other integrations for payment processing and other currencies, it will disable the ability to process in stripe if you're doing anything other than USD, or USA pay, if that is important to you, please let us know.

And are also working on an Israeli and more global currency, payment processor to charge in.

So this represents a very big change, a very feature set.

Now agencies from around the world can use Yaalago and in addition, you can process everything the way you would normally be able to do with a simple, toggle of the currency.
