What was your biggest challenge you were dealing with?

Great question, Micah.

so before joining the plug, I had been using Notion prior to probably maybe two years.

But honestly it, I didn't know how to really get the most out of Notion and all the capabilities, until I connected with you and connected with Merkabah, where you just opened up a whole nother level and world of what notion and the capabilities that it has.

And so since then it's been like a complete transformation of just adding in notes and training, trying my best to organize my business and, and what I do to now having like a full like operating system where I have everything that, you know, my business needs to run from the marketing piece to the client experience piece to just, you know, my weekly and daily, you know, tasks.

it's been just a game changer in working with you and working with Merkabah and being a part of the Plug.

Because now I that every month, you know, I can go in and do these like audits and check ins with my Notion with your support and that's just been like phenomenal and I make it a priority because my Business is a priority, and the foundation is so important, you know, to.

To be able to continue to run, and be, you know, to run the business.

So I make a point to always, like, show up to the office hours, to the one on ones, to your.

To your workshops.

you know, that I didn't have access to before being a part of the plug.

So I make it a priority to do that.

And it's been, like I said, just a game changer.

So I've definitely seen like, a huge difference because in the sense of you compared to other clients, because when you apply it and it becomes a priority, you're going to get it so fast.

And I could tell even in our conversations, the different shift, like, there's Just your questions are different because we've moved past the beginning stages.

Like, the kindergarten will ask question this way, but the high schooler will ask a question.

Same question, but different, with more.

With more understanding.

Right.

And so, it's been a huge difference.

And you could even tell in your system that it's growing and getting more customizable, because that's the.

That's the next tier is you get more customizable by the more questions you get.

I don't know how you want to see stuff until you tell me or you.

Right.

So I'm really happy that you were able to, you know, join us and be able to see the differences.

when, before, when you got into notion, kind of like, what did.

What did that, like, look like?

Like, how did you enter into notion?

Did you hear about it and then, like, from joining, what was like, now I have this thing and I have it kind of connected.

You were kind of going into that.

But what.

What did it kind of look like before?

Like, how did you even discover notion?

so actually my husband angel, who, you know, was the one who, heard about notion and was the one who was like, hey, this is where I'm, going to start housing, you know, our clients and searches, like, putting work into this space.

Like, this is going to become our workspace.

And so anything new, I'm very hesitant on.

You know, I don't.

I think I was using Trey O at the, that's kind of where I was, you know, putting notes, putting tasks, putting, you know, the work that I do.

As far as, like, being a keynote speaker and workshops, I was putting all my speeches and workshops there, and had been using that, I think maybe like a year, a little over.

and so Angel's really the one who's always looking for new ways to, like, build systems or have things organized or have like a.

Like a house, you know, to put everything in.

so I remember being hesitant.

but, you know, he showed, you know, he showed me as little bit as he knew at that time.

Time.

and Notion itself has, like, transformed, right?

Like, from what, two years ago, three years ago, to where it is now, especially with the.

With the AI components, you know, that have, you know, come into play, with everything.

so I was hesitant, but just started using it.

Like I said, it was really just a place where I was creating.

What.

And I was asking you this actually yesterday during a session.

What were those?

What are those?

Car.

The cards?

Yeah, the.

Yeah, the entry cards.

They're just entry cards for each.

Whatever.

database.

Database, okay.

Yeah.

So I was just creating entry cards, and you saw kind of like what I was doing.

It was like, entry card, you know, database.

To hold this and do that.

Because I was kind of used to that from, you know, the other system.

so I was like, okay, this kind of feel, you know, and so I'm like.

And I love things organized.

so that's.

That's how I heard about it.

And once I, you know, the.

The idea of, like, I just wanted something in one place, even back then, like, even before we connected.

And so I just kept creating these different cards just to have a place to hold, you know, notes or, you know, if I'm.

If I'm attending workshops or conferences, a place to hold all that as well.

So, that's where it all got started.

and I'm glad that he introduced me, and I'm glad I stuck with it, because now I was thinking about it yesterday, I'm like, I.

I don't know.

I never go back.

Like, I don't know if there's anything else.

Like, I want to, like, invest, you know, time, money, resources, energy into something else.

So.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, the same here.

I don't.

I'm, gonna always say, okay, because you never say never, but sure, where I'm at.

Notion is where I'm at.

I feel like it's a great house.

It's a great house for my business.

Yeah.

and I know that it's going to continue to evolve, and I love that about Notion.

The fact that you could say we were working on this two years ago, and where Notion is now, it's completely different, but in a good way.

Yeah.

Moved in a perfect direction of where we're going as a society.

Right.

Like, as far as business moving forward with AI, so it's going in a good direction.

Yeah, I agree.

Okay, so in the membership there's these office hours and there's also depending on your tier, you have, support one on one calls and stuff like that.

any like, specific moments that kind of like stood out for you in office hours or in our one on one sessions that you would like to mention?

Every time I go into an office hours or one on one session, Micah, you blow my mind.

I mean we were just in one yesterday.

and you know, I was like, I'm trying, you know, I want to have this.

This is what I want to like, this is the way I want to be able to see, you know, my structure and my outlines.

And in that time you were like, yeah, I just, I just notion fight it.

And I was like, my gosh, you so did.

And moments like that are happening all the time of like, okay, I have this idea or I like it to, you know, connect in this way.

And you know, you were able to guide me through that.

We were able to create it right there on the spot with the, with that time.

and that's what I love too is that we like get right to work, right?

It's like, okay, what's your question?

Or what's your idea?

Let's see how far we can get.

you also use it as a teachable moment.

So you're teaching me, you know, or you get me started.

Like, okay, like I was able to get you here.

Now you go in and fill it out.

And I love that because I actually did yesterday I went in and like finished out the template, started adding to it, asking my AI assistant to help me add to it and do that.

And so now it's like one.

Now I have this new space that I've been wanting to have.

How, you know, a new place, a new room in the house.

But also.

Yeah, you like that?

I love.

Like, it's like we're building our mansion here in Notion.

but also I was able to, because you taught me how to do it.

Now I was doing it, you know, repetitive.

And so I had to go in and as I was like in it, I was like, let me go back to the template.

This needs to be in the template so I get able to do that.

So I was refining, refining, refining it, as I was going along, but you helped me at least, you know, get the room built.

And it's like, okay, here's the room.

Now you and, and I.

This is my favorite part, even in real life, right.

Is like, go decorate.

Like, go decorate.

Okay.

Do you want the, you know, the pictures there?

Do you want the plants there?

Right.

So, you know, in.

In notion, right?

How do you want this?

And so that we.

We get to work and we get.

There's never been a time during an office hours or one on one session where I felt left hanging or felt like, okay, well, we didn't get anything done.

Or like, I still have more, you know, now I have more questions or questions are answered.

and I always get excited for the office hours in the one on one because I'm like, okay, something like, I'm.

This is going to get done to, like, a new piece of this puzzle is going to be, like, added to it.

And it always feels good to like, know that go in and do it and then leave feeling accomplished.

Happy that this is the result from the office hours.

I think office hours, the most.

One of the most powerful moments in the membership, I think.

because not only do you get to kind of like get the information and get that support, but you also can learn from other people.

So that's the thing that I really do like about office hours.

I think it's the best part of the membership outside.

I think it's the best part.

I mean, all of it's great.

like, I wouldn't say, like, I have a favorite piece of this puzzle that you've created.

I think it all, like, because I like having.

I'm.

I'm a template person.

Like, you know, I, you know, I believe we're all creatives and we're all creators, but I think we all creators in a different way.

And I know for sure you're very.

You can take nothing and turn it into something.

I'm more like, okay, give me the template and then I can get creative based on that.

And I just, just my superpower.

Like, I know that about me.

Like, you know, and that's okay.

So the templates are perfect, you know, for someone like me.

Right.

That's just like, I don't know what to do with this blank white screen.

And then, you know, but you put something together and you're like, okay, well, here's what you could do with that blank white screen.

I'm like, okay.

And then my wheels get turning of like, well, okay, I see that now.

I want to move this here and move that there.

But to your point, like office hours.

Like, there's been times where I have a question, right?

Because you go, like, whoever shows up, it's like, you know, first come, first serve.

So I'm usually early also.

Get in where you fit in.

but I come in, I, I, you know, I asked my question, and then, you know, I stay on and just like, body double.

But then I'll hear that person's question and I'll like, stop.

And I'm like, wait, what?

You can.

That's a great question.

I never thought of that.

And then you're running it through with them, and I'm like.

And I'm over here.

Like, I want that now, too.

So, you know.

Yeah, that's been like a key, cool part of the office hours because, you know, you're just kind of in your own world or using, you know, what you're using at that time, and someone's over here, like, doing something else.

And now you're learning about what they're doing and the question they have, and you're like, wait, I, I forget.

I honestly wish I had an example of it, but I know it happened.

I think it was the, the email being able to link to Notion.

I think that's, that was the, that was one of the questions and I was like, I want to do that.

So.

Yeah, yeah.

if you were telling a friend about the plug, what would you say?

And who is the.

Who is best for this membership?

Yeah, so I actually do talk about it all the time with people, when I notice that they are talking about you, you know, having a house for their, their business, having an operations place, you know, where all their operations are, having a system in place, a client experience in place.

so anytime those kind of, like, keywords come up, when I'm talking to, like, you know, friends who are also, you know, entrepreneurs.

I mentioned to them if they're, familiar with notion, if they are, if they, what they're using, does it work?

and I, I've even sent you messages like, hey, how do I let someone know about you or how do I make that connection.

and so usually it's been someone who is either been in business for a while, it's an entrepreneur.

So the.

What I see is that it's the entrepreneur who is either been in business or even starting business.

I think, I think someone starting their business it's obviously anybody can, can plug in literally right into this.

But I think if you're starting your business and I think that's like you don't think about like where's everything gonna go, you know and be able to function it and connect it.

And I know I didn't 10 years ago or however many years ago now it's been with my first business.

So if, if you're starting in business I think it's, it's a perfect place for you to start because notion can, can be free at first right.

So you don't need.

It's a, it's a, it's a, it's not even an expense.

It's really just your some time and energy.

the actual notion right.

Of course plug and being part membership.

But even that is a very low cost, you know especially coming into, coming into this.

So that would be who I would recommend it for.

This was awesome.

Because overall, I've done this with three people and got nothing but amazing feedback.
