INTRODUCING BEACONS.FYI: Credit Scores for AI Agents 🛡️

All right, all right.

I'm, Vaughn, and this is Beacon.

So we built Beacon for the Hermes hackathon to solve one specific problem in the agent economy.

Trust.

As you can see, we've built credit scores for AI services, and as everybody knows, in 2026, agents are browsing, buying, building all of this autonomously.

And it's becoming increasingly increasingly important for agents to know whether or not they can trust an API before they pay for a service from it.

Knowing whether or not it's legitimate or if it's a honey pot or just not working, period.

what we've built here is a trust layer around reputation.

what we're doing is probing these APIs, allowing for agents to discover them, scoring them, and then making it really easy to execute once all of that has been taken care of.

So let me jump into the demo we have built this, an Agent payment harness.

it uses Hermes to launch the probe.

And that probe is evaluated by Nemotron 3 Ultra for trust scoring.

There's an escrow that's set up and ultimately executed upon, if the results come back, a, with a sufficient trust rating in order to justify the purchase, Okay, for a full list of the probed APIs, as it stand, here's a few of the recently probed ones.

As you can see, there's quite a few that have been flagged as malicious or blocked.

And as a user, you have the ability to specify what level of trust you require in order for your agent to make, payments by default, it's set to 80% plus, So if you want to see a real simulation, we can click on this little section here.

We can start a probe.

So the agent has the intent to run some inference with Nvidia and deploy it via Nemo Claw.

So we initiate that here, it sends out a beacon.

The beacon checks the Nvidia API, it comes back with a passing score of 99.

We can open the escrow.

And by the way, this is us, simulating it, but the agent can do all of these things autonomously.

so using the stripe skills the, with Hermes agent, we're able to send a, payment of $0.02 in order to be able to deploy this API.

And since the trust came back, okay, the payment goes through and we complete the purchase.

And this all gets updated automatically, as time goes on.

And once somebody in the network, experiences something negative, it gets propagated to everybody, so everybody benefits collectively.
