I'm starting to use it more and more recently to give you a very quick 60 second overview.
00:11
If you haven't used it, you can effectively add sources of information, whether that be text or video.
00:17
In this case, I'm using Caleb, Ralston.
00:20
He makes videos about personal branding.
00:23
And I think he's pretty good, I think he has some pretty good advice.
00:26
and so the issue that you have a lot of times when you listen to youtubers is they make good points, but you're like, how does this apply to my situation?
00:35
And I have this notebook LLM Chrome extension, which basically will drag up to 50 of his videos and put them into a notebook.
00:43
And the AI then basically goes through all of these transcripts and it can then create an LLM based on his videos.
00:52
And I can then go in and ask it my own prompt, or I can use one of the suggestions here and it gives me basically, you know, an output based on the context I've given it or the question that I've given it, or you know, my YouTube business is this.
01:06
How could I position myself online to make me a better YouTube strategist, as an example.
01:10
It would then come back and apply Caleb's advice to my question.
01:16
And it also will sort of quote each area of the transcript that it's using.
01:20
It's a pretty good tool.
01:22
And one of the things that I really like about this is they have these, these things over here, like an audio overview, video overview, mind map, reports.
01:28
And you can basically click this and the AI will generate a mind map for you, for example, and you can just go through here and see how, you know, the ideas are connected.
01:39
you can create a podcast that you can listen to between two podcast hosts and you can actually interject as the viewer, which obviously you couldn't do with a real podcast.
01:49
And you could ask a question and then the two podcast hosts would answer your question in a podcast format.
01:54
It's pretty cool.
01:55
But one of the things that they've, they've added and updated recently is this one here, which is the video overview, which allows you to generate and explain a video presented to you by AI.
02:05
So let me just play the first couple of seconds here just so you understand what it is.
02:09
Have you at someone's career and just wondered, how did they do that?
02:13
How do some people seem to just fast track their way to the top?
02:16
So it, it, it, it's okay, right?
02:18
It's.
02:19
This is nothing groundbreaking.
02:20
It's, it's not too special.
02:22
But what it effectively does is it goes through and will create AI imagery to go along with the explainer video.
02:32
Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're bad.
02:34
But.
02:34
But when I was looking at this, there were some real moments where I was like, That could be used as B roll in a YouTube video, right?
02:42
As a still image.
02:43
Or you could even take it and give it to Grok, for example, and say, animate this and that could then become, B roll in your video.
02:54
you could basically use this as a, like a mood board.
02:58
You know, if you wanted to kind of hand this over to your video editor and say, look, I.
03:02
This is how I want to visually this content that I'm explaining verbally in the video.
03:08
And they could then take that and recreate that.
03:11
this I think, is a pretty cool way of like, helping you to come up with B roll suggestions that you probably wouldn't get, elsewhere.
03:19
And I think the big issue that a lot of creators and video editors have is the creator has visual imagery in their head, but they need to verbally communicates that, which if they're not very good at doing so, the video editor needs to decode your verbal, instructions and then turn that into a visual image in their head.
03:41
And you hope that what you have in your head matches what they have in their head.
03:45
And typically, yeah, it doesn't always happen.
03:49
And so if this can kind of just give you inspiration or allows you to go, yeah, that's what I wanted.
03:55
Could we take this and, you know, remove the light bulb or the gym, sort of barbell, and do these other things.
04:02
It allows you, I think, to speed up the process and come up with some interesting things.
04:07
Now, this obviously is based on all of his YouTube videos.
04:11
So I just added my one recent video to this and obviously this has been uploaded already because I'm doing this after the fact.
04:19
But what you could do is just come in here, put in, copy text and paste your script before you've edited the video.
04:26
But in this case, I've obviously already edited it.
04:28
So I uploaded this video, which is live on my YouTube channel.
04:32
I recommend you watch it if you haven't, and I just asked it to do the video overview just to see what it would come up with.
04:38
And I think this is how you would get specific, specific ideas based on a single video script as opposed to across like 50 different videos.
04:49
Because we don't really want to do that.
04:51
But like this idea I saw and I thought, okay, that's pretty cool.
04:54
Like I could definitely, you know, get my editor to remove this bar chart because that obviously isn't needed.
05:00
The AIs added that for some reason get rid of the notebook Lm logo there.
05:05
And I could again get Grok or even Nano Banana inside of Gemini to just remove that with a single prompt if he didn't want to do it in Photoshop.
05:14
But I could just take this because I thought that's quite a nice idea because in the script I'm saying how you need to have more shots on goal, in other words more uploads to hit the target and learn about your audience and start to grow your audience.
05:27
This is a great visual way of illustrating that, which didn't occur to me when I was giving feedback to my video editor.
05:34
And my video editor also didn't come up with this idea.
05:37
So little things like this of like, you know, shooting a YouTube upload into the goal I think is a really nice visual metaphor for that.
05:46
you know, sometimes it comes up with things that don't look good.
05:50
Right.
05:50
This, this is not obviously wouldn't work, but I think generally it doesn't take, you know, five minutes to kind of run this through AI just to see what it comes up with.
05:59
And if it comes up with something that's pretty interesting, that's great that that's a real positive and obviously this is only going to get better.
06:07
I'm low key scared that in the long term these explainer videos might be so good that they actually are like a VOX video.
06:16
You know, they're just, they look like a normal YouTube video.
06:19
That would be scary because I think that would put a lot of stress on creators.
06:23
but I thought I just wanted to record this video, to highlight this.
06:29
Maybe you can use it in your toolkit now.
06:31
especially if you're struggling with upcoming video ideas.
06:34
and yeah, I'll be putting through some more tips like this in the community over the next week as I discover them as I explore more with AI.
