How to Prompt Like a Pro 💻

In today's video, we're going to be covering how to prompt like a pro.

So you've probably seen by now that we have launched a new feature.

that is, you've seen by now we've revamped the whole platform.

This is a new design.

And one of the newest features we've released is AI prompting so you can give us a prompt.

And based on that prompt, we'll give you a lead list of your ideal client.

So I'm going to give you some principles and share with you some principles to apply before starting to prompt.

there's some tips and tricks to get the best results, the best quality and quantity as well at the same time.

The first one being be specific.

So being as specific as you can, like software companies selling to dentists instead of software companies sell in the U.S.

right?

This is too broad for two reasons.

One, your lead.

This will be more accurate once you give us a very specific prompt.

Two, your script, when you're reaching out to them, whether you're cold calling them or cold emailing them, your script or what you're telling them, could be specifically to that niche.

So when you email them, be like, hey, I was looking for a software company, a dental software company, they're going to relate to you because they're like, that's me.

And rather than saying I was looking for a software company in the U.S.

right, it's just too broad.

So you can personalize your script based on the pain points that this specific sub niche has.

So more accurate list and more personalized script, and it always beats your results will be much better than just going broad.

The second thing is you want to keep your prompt short and tight.

So six to nine words maximum, don't be too broad, don't add a lot of words because it's going to get lost.

And don't put like two words, you know, don't put software companies alone.

That's not going to work either way.

Like you need five words minimum at least.

So five to nine words, you know, is good.

Six to nine words, use the word software instead of SaaS.

So instead of saying like I'm looking for SaaS companies, you could say software companies for E commerce or software companies targeting E commerce instead of SaaS platforms because this is the, description language.

So make sure you're using language that they would use on their description or website.

Right.

So when you log into their website or you, sorry, you go to their website they would say under landing page we are a software company that helps E commerce stores do X, Y and Z.

They wouldn't say we are a SaaS platform that do X, Y and Z.

Right.

So it's going to give you much better results.

Now I want to share some examples as well.

Software.

Software that helps E commerce brands reduce cart abandonment.

This is such a good one.

It's super specific.

All you have to do is just paste it here, search it.

So you can click on a few companies just to double check how accurate it is.

So let's see.

Card converts.

Card convert helps E commerce brands doing 1 million reclaim lost revenue by reaching out to abandoned checkout shoppers.

This is recovery lost revenue, abandoned card sales automatically.

So it's super cool.

It helps you like you know, it's super specific.

It gave me super good brands.

you could try, let me try a different example.

For instance agencies, helping roofers book more appointments.

Right?

Let's try this.

You put it in here.

Let me just click on a few companies, check them out.

We're looking to partner with and grow a few roofing companies and if that's our team will personal you roofing marketing strategies.

That's good.

Relentless me I get qualified roofing leads on autopilot as you can see like add what their service is like what they are and what their service in order who they sell to.

So these are two things that you want you to focus on.

So here's the formula company type property product service that they sell.

So you can either this plus this or this or this.

These are two important like if it's a software company, if it's an agency, if it's just a company you can say just company.

If they sell like Legion services if it's an agency they probably sell growth services or lead gen services.

You can say lead generation for roofers the one I just showed you earlier.

So agencies that sell lead gen services for roofers that's going to give you a good lead list, right?

So think of your ideal client.

What's their company type, what service and product do they sell and who's their target market and this is going to give you the best list possible.

So accounting firms that help Roofers called email and lead generation agencies.

Marketing agencies focus on SEO.

So you can, these are all examples.

You can just copy and paste them depending on what you do and keep on trying different variations.

So I think I have here.

Yes, over here.

So you can try marketing companies that sell Facebook ads.

Then you can try marketing agencies that sell Facebook ads.

You can try marketing agencies that sell meta ads.

And you can all put them in one campaign.

So all you're doing is just changing the prompt, getting the credits put in your campaign.

Right?

As simple as that.

and some final tips.

So think like your target market.

Use terms that you will use on their website.

So grow your business.

So you could say something like agencies that help roofers grow.

Right?

So because they use grow your business or get agencies that help roofers get more leads.

salespeople that help sales agencies that help, you know, software companies cloak more deals.

AI companies that help automate outreach automations.

Whatever, whatever it is.

Just use these words that are on their website.

I use different combinations.

Companies that sell X, Y and Z.

Agency software that serves X, Y and Z.

These are all examples.

Businesses helping XYZ Industries with ABC outcome.

So this is, these are the combinations and angles that I want you to use.

and it's not a guessing game, it's a testing game.

You just got to keep on testing.

Test three to five variations for every campaign.

Right.

So don't just stop at your first prompt.

Like try three to different prompts using these combinations and you should get a winner.

this is super cool.

Dentist.

And you just hit software company.

Dentists.

dental companies.

Right.

Because we need five for its minimum.

It's just going to give you dentists like software companies targeting a dentist.
