In this video I will go over downloading the demerge statement here.
00:10
I have a claim that is done and I'm ready to download the statement.
00:15
You can click the download statement here to bring up a menu of options.
00:23
We'll go through the format and some of the additional options in this video.
00:29
The first thing I want to talk about is this don't ask again button.
00:34
This essentially allows you to set your favorite configuration and save a click every time you want to download.
00:42
So let's say I always like to use the timeline format and I like to include my claim name in clauses but not my notes and tags.
00:52
I can click this don't ask again and download.
00:57
This will cause the demerge statement to pop up in a new tab and my settings have been applied.
01:04
I have my claim name here and I have my clauses in this column and I have my timeline statement.
01:18
I'll go into that, in a second.
01:22
If Now if you click the download statement, you'll see the menu doesn't pop up again.
01:27
It just picked your favorites.
01:29
But if instead you click on this open statement settings gear icon, it will reappear.
01:37
And if you want the menu to always appear again, you can simply click the don't ask again button to toggle it off.
01:46
Let's say in this case I now want to see the event based format when I download see a new statement pop up at the top.
01:58
If I go back into my claim and I click my demerge statement again, my menu now appears because I untoggled the don't ask again.
02:09
Let's talk about the statement formats.
02:11
the one I just downloaded is the event based format.
02:16
Here I see the details and the demerge calculation at the top.
02:22
But then for each port I see only the additions and the deductions For my claim.
02:28
Here we can see the late time, commence and end and I can see the operation added.
02:33
I only have one addition.
02:34
Here you would also see deductions if there were any applicable.
02:38
For each event range you will see the start, the end and the factor applied to give you a total elapsed time.
02:50
In the timeline statement you'll see the same details and emerge calculation at the top.
02:58
Then on the port call you'll actually see every event you unhid from the parser included in the statement.
03:06
if port call events will would happen during a page break, it is pushed down to the next page for better clarity.
03:15
Here I still see the same lay time, commence and end, but I see every event with a date timestamp My lay time addition is denoted by this start and end in the start end column.
03:31
I'll still see the same elapsed time here and I'll see the same factor in this pro rata column.
03:38
Lastly, I now see a time counting column which will add all of my additions and deductions together for a running total.
03:48
the last things I want to mention are the clause and the claim name options.
03:52
I chose to include my clauses because of this.
03:57
I see this column a appear in the table where it shows the commentary for the clause that resulted in this addition.
04:07
I also see clause details here at the bottom of the port call.
