Define Your Photography Editing Style 📸

Hey, my name's Chris.

I want to talk about the program that I'm putting together for photographers, usually newer photographers who need help with defining or refining their editing style and then learning how to edit, you know, more, more generally.

So, I own a business with my wife, called luxedit.

We edit for a whole bunch of photographers.

we have added over a million images in the last six years.

So you know, we, you know, by default have really learned a lot about editing in Lightroom Classic and how to, to get a particular style and the most effective, effective and efficient way to edit in Lightroom Classic.

So I wanted to offer this service, to folks to basically work together to define what your editing style is.

Really.

You know, that's a discovery process where we figure out what, you know, what you actually want, right?

And then once we figure out what you actually want for your photography, then we build that editing style, right?

And that is a custom preset, that I build for you.

It's a back and forth process where I'll, get your inspiration images.

I will then, you know, start working on a custom preset, and then send you some edits of your images, right.

Of a variety of your images.

Then you give me feedback, we tweak it more and more and more until you get to where your custom preset is the exact look that you want from, for the variety of images that you have.

Right?

So that's the first step and that is a wonderful process for a lot of photographers because it really forces them to think about what is it that they want in their editing style, at a very granular level.

But also, it's very important that you don't just get an editing style, a custom preset and, and then I know how to use it, right?

because I'm an editor and I edit all the time.

there's a bunch of things that I understand about editing that you may not because you're not a full time editor.

That is not your job.

Your job is likely to be a photographer, right?

So what we do is I will teach you how to use that custom preset and then more generally teach you how to be an effective and efficient editor.

Right?

So therefore you're never, you know, in a situation where you're like, I don't know how to get the look I want, or like, I think I want this, but you don't know how to get there.

Right?

I can help you with that.

And the fastest most efficient way to get there.
