So once you've mapped out your company, you've added in the team members, you can start organizing the work.
00:07
The work can be organized in one of two ways.
00:10
Either the teams are fully autonomous.
00:13
and you can start.
00:14
We'll start there.
00:15
So let's say, for instance, I want to start organizing the HR team that I'm a part of.
00:20
as you can see here, as you can see here, have the different roles within the HR team.
00:26
I've gone ahead and created a basic role which is the leader in the HR team.
00:31
So essentially a basic role is a role that you can get to create over here that will be able to be, added into any other circle.
00:41
So it could be a leader, a facilitator.
00:44
It's just basically a role that can be replicated anywhere else.
00:48
So, so let's say click on HR team again.
00:50
So I want to start organizing the HR team.
00:53
You'll see a bunch of icons up here.
00:56
And what we have here is essentially the news feed.
01:00
The news feed is going to, tell you or give you any resumes of any meetings, any topics that have been added, any tasks that have been added.
01:10
It's just basically a newsfeed for the team.
01:12
And here I can start adding topics.
01:16
Let's say I want to create a new topic.
01:18
A topic essentially is anything.
01:19
It can be, the beginning of a project management.
01:22
It can be, an announcement, and it can just be like a discussion between people around a certain topic.
01:31
So let's say today I need to start, discussing, the recruitment of a salesperson.
01:36
Recruiting a salesperson.
01:38
So here you go.
01:40
I will create that topic.
01:43
I'll be able to put in the status if I want to.
01:45
So between in preparation, in progress, blocked or done, and then I can mark the topic as private.
01:52
What that'll do is that the topic will only be seen or the details of the topic will only be seen by the three people involved in the topic.
02:01
Else the topic will be able to be seen by anybody else in the company.
02:05
So I can create that topic.
02:07
And so once I create the topic, I can, start discussing.
02:11
Right.
02:12
So recruiting a salesperson, a new salesperson is needed.
02:16
What do you think?
02:18
Right.
02:18
And start sending the discussion.
02:20
So it's basically a discussion thread within which I can add either a decision that has been made, right.
02:27
A poll.
02:27
I can poll people as well on their opinions on something.
02:32
I can add a task, assign a task to somebody within that topic.
02:37
I can go ahead and schedule a meeting within the topic to discuss the Topic at hand.
02:43
Or I can create another topic.
02:44
Right.
02:45
So that's essentially what a topic is for.
02:49
Right.
02:50
So I go back to your chart and back to my HR team.
02:55
So I can also create meetings, that I'll show you in a later video.
03:02
And I can do the same thing for a task.
03:05
Right.
03:05
Can create a task.
03:06
So let's say I want to create a task.
03:08
The result to be achieved is, it's the HR team.
03:11
So send out the survey, the team survey.
03:17
Right.
03:18
So I can add in any descriptions that I'd like to and I can assign the task to obviously one person.
03:24
So let's see, I'm going to assign the task to myself again.
03:29
I can put in a deadline as well, marking a date.
03:34
And I can also put the task as private.
03:36
If I don't want anybody else to see the details of the task.
03:40
I get to create the task here.
03:42
I get to log in all the decisions of the team.
03:45
So a decision can be created elsewhere.
03:47
It can be created within a topic.
03:49
instance, it can be created within a meeting that is within the team.
03:53
But once the decision is logged in any one of these places, it'll just come and sit over here and it'll kind of give you the log of all the decisions that have been taken by the team.
04:02
Right.
04:04
So this is kind of how you organize the different teams.
04:07
And obviously different teams have exactly the same functionalities.
04:10
There's another way as well that you can organize the team or the work of the whole organization is rather than going through the, the different team members or the different teams, sorry, you can go within the topics here on the top on the left panel.
04:26
And here you can just click on topics and you can start visualizing first of all, all of the topics that have been created throughout the company.
04:34
You can filter.
04:35
So let's say I want to filter, throughout the company.
04:37
I would just want to see the list of all the topics that have been created here.
04:40
I can see the different topics that have been created attached to which, team.
04:45
So here I can see the sales team has also a topic of its own that it's following.
04:50
And I can obviously click on here and see what's happening in there.
04:54
And I can see a task has been assigned to Michael for instance.
04:58
Right.
04:59
So I can have an overview of all the topics throughout the company.
05:03
And if the topics have been marked private, I will be able to see what the topic is.
05:11
So what's the title of the topic?
05:12
But I will not be able to click on it and see what's in the thread.
05:16
Same applies for tasks, right?
05:19
The task list is a simple kanban, and I can obviously filter in and see all the different topics, all the different tasks that have been created.
05:27
And I can see there's a task as well that has been created within the sales team.
05:32
And obviously I can move those around as a typical kanban.
05:37
So there you go.
05:37
This is how you get to use, the topics, the tasks, and how you get to start organizing the work of the different teams and the organization.
