Unlimited Crunchbase Data Scraping 💻

this is, how you can use the Crunchbase Scraper inside of Lead Wave to basically scrape unlimited data from Crunchbase without paying them hundreds and thousands of dollars every single month.

So all you have to do is simply download the Chrome extension which you have created.

So click on the button over here, it'll take you to like a Google Drive folder.

And over here you'll see like Lead Wave, Crunch Base, Scraper Unlimited zip, basically the file which contains the extension.

Simply click on the download button over here, it will scan for viruses and when it's safe, it'll start the download process automatically.

Once it has been downloaded, simply open up the folder and just like unzip it.

So if you're on like Windows, I don't know how exactly you do that.

I think you have to like right click and click on like the extract button, but unmarked.

It's pretty simple.

You just like double click on it and.

And a new folder will be created.

So yeah, you can see like Lead Wave Crunch Base Scraper lifted, something like that.

So yeah, after that all you have to do is simply come over to the Chrome, extension section.

So either Click on like Chrome 2 dots/ extensions, or the other way of reaching this exact same place is going to be clicking on like the puzzle icon.

Clicking on Manage Extensions over here on the top right corner, Ensure, like the developer mode is turned on.

Like, by default it's turned off.

So simply turn it on.

And after that click on like Load and Pack and simply like open up the extension which you have just downloaded.

Like open up the folder and click on Select.

So yeah, after that, if you want to access it easily, just click on this puzzle icon and search for the extension.

So here it is like Lead Wave Crunchbase Scraper and you can simply like pin it so that you can like always just access it from here.

After that all you have to do is, it's like a pretty simple process is simply come over to Crunch Base so that you can start scraping.

Now, the free plan, it won't let you, like, do it.

So by default, like, if I come over to Crunchbase on an incognito window, like, let's say I'm not logged in, it won't let me like view the data.

As you can see, it won't let me like apply filters and Everything.

So you do need like a paid plan, but the thing is like you don't need to actually buy from them.

You can just create like a free trial.

So just click on the link and over here where it says like 99amonth, click on like try monthly free and it has like a seven day free trial.

Enter your credit card information, any, enter like any email address.

Like you don't have to like pay them any money.

You, you can just create a try, use it for seven days and cancel like one day before the trial ends.

And over here, if you click on this link, you can use it to get like temporary email addresses.

So like let's say this, I come over here, I get like a 10 minute email address, like an email address which I can use for the next 10 minutes.

I click on here and then I enter like my credit card information, my name and everything.

And that's how we can create like a free trial account.

You don't ever have to like pay them money, just do it like four times a month and you'll be sorted.

So yeah, after that I'm assuming at this point you have like a paid Crunchbase account, like an active trial subscription.

So yeah, that's all you need.

After that, like it's pretty simple.

You can either scrape like companies, like list of companies, or you can scrape contacts, you can scrape like information about the investors or yeah, basically like all these other things, you can definitely do that.

The process for all of them is like literally the exact same.

So like let's say I want to scrape companies, I'll come here, you can use all these different filters to like basically find your perfect companies.

Like you already know how to do it, like what industry you want to target and everything.

So yeah, just play around with these filters.

I'm pretty sure you know how to do it.

And click on the export button, select how many you want, turn this on and click on the export button and boom, it's going to start like the scraping process.

Like let's say you also want to like let's say you want to scrape like people who work at particular companies.

You can come here, you can see like the free trial, it won't allow you to view the data, but I'm pretty sure you can still export the data without doing that.

So all you have to do is simply find all the people and click on the export button.

And yeah, like one thing I forgot to mention before we actually start the scraping process, because I had done it for myself already, you might see that you're not getting like all of the data.

So in that case you have to click on like the three dots over here on the top right corner.

And you have to do it for like contacts as well.

And you have to do it for leak investors as well if you want to scrape that.

So, so whatever thing you're using, like if you're using companies, scrapers like contacts or investors, you have to repeat the process for all three of them.

So let's say I'm doing this for like contacts.

I have to click on these three dots, click on the like edit table view and then simply select all the different fields which I want to see.

So like by default I'll reset it.

So by default it looks like this.

You have to simply come down and select like all these different fields one by one.

You just have to like do this once.

After that you won't have to repeat it.

But this basically is like just telling the scraper like what all information you want.

So I'll click on this as well.

Boom.

And just simply like selected.

It's like kind of like an annoying thing which you have to do.

But if you want like all the data, simply select this.

Apply changes.

If you're doing this for like companies again, click on the three dots, click on like the edit table view and simply like select all the different things.

Like by default it like none of this will be selected.

So come here, select all of these.

After that come over to Investor details, select both of them.

Select like both all these different things as well.

Select all these different things.

And after that over here again, select all these things, select this as well.

And yeah, I'll basically like do it as well in order to like quickly show you how to do it.

The more data you select, the more data you're going to get.

I'll select all these different types of things as well.

School type, alumni, select this as well.

Industries, select this too.

Everything over here, everything in funding investors and boom, click on like the apply changes button.

And now you can like simply apply filters over here as well.

In the cometies thing click on the export button.

And now like start the export process.

Boom.

After that same thing over here like just repeat the process.

Like this is for scraping the contact information.

Boom.

Everything is selected.

Click on like the export button which you have added over here, click on this and start the button.

It will automatically scrape and once the data is ready you can download it.

So yeah, I'll quickly like show you what the data looks like.

So I'll open up the CSV file Which you just downloaded in Google sheets.

The same process exists for like scraping like investors data as well if you want to.

So again you can do that.

Let's say I want to get like the 150 companies as well.

So yeah, that's the process how it works.

I'll open up the sheet, show you the sample of the data.

Yeah, as you can see you get like the name and you get like the name of the company.

Obviously we cannot get like emails and phone numbers because like Crunchways is not allowing us to like scrape that like view the data.

If you have like a paid plan or if you subscribe to the paid plan and they allow you to basically like view the emails and phone numbers as well, then we can do that.

But what you can do is like you can go and further enrich this data.

So what you can do is you can come to like email finder over here and like click on like from domain.

So let's say you want to find like email addresses of all the people over here.

So simply select this and like you'll have to split it.

But again you know how to get like data like find email addresses using the first name and the company name of the person.

So you can come here to the email finder from company name, upload the CSV file, map the first name, the last name and the company name and then you'll pretty much be sorted after that.

One more thing you can do is simply come here and again just simply come over to company enrichment from company name and upload like the CSV file and simply like select like which column has the company name, organization name, what job titles you want.

Like let's say you want founder, click on the start button and then it's simply going to start like finding out people who work in those companies.

So that's how you can like find email addresses and phone numbers of people using this.

Now coming to like the organization database, like this was for the people.

If we come over to the company database, like information about the company which we receive from here, I think no, this is contacts.

If you come over here to companies like the information you receive from there, again you can see you get like a lot of data and company website as well.

So yeah, you also get like the phone numbers of the company.

So you can directly like call them up if it's like kind of like a smaller company.

Because a lot of the time like those are the people who are going to be answering, like the founders and owners.

But yeah, obviously it won't work in like bigger companies what you can do is simply like you can use these websites to find data.

So you can come to email finder like this one work but you can come to company enrichment from domain and upload like the CSV file which are the company information.

Select like which column has the website.

So I'll select this and again click on the job writers you want to enter and click on the start button.

So that's how you can find that data.

and yeah also you can like go ahead and use Apollo scraper to basically enrich the data.

You can paste like all these different domains in like the URL, like upload all the website URLs onto Apollo and then you can like start scraping the data.

So the extension basically allows you to scrape the data and then you can use a platform to like index this data.
