Cal Field: Recruiting Status

To build the recruiting status calculated field, we'll go to admin tab calculated fields and we'll create a new one.

In In this case, the object type that we're looking for is openings.

Next, we'll give this a title such as opening recruiting status and we'll keep it at filter bucket field and click create.

We'll leave the behavior to takes first that matches and add a new bucket.

The first bucket we'll title filled and we'll add criteria to match.

In this case, the status is is filled, we'll click save and add our next bucket.

this case, we'll search for candidates in offer and we'll select this based on the latest version's job and this is a measure or account of the number of job considerations currently in offer.

In this case we're looking for is greater than or equal to one.

That way whenever we're grouping and see offer, we'll know there's at least one candidate for the associated job.

In the offer stage, let's go ahead and add a new bucket.

In this case, let's title it interviewing.

Next, we're looking for candidates in active stages, so we'll go ahead and search active.

We're looking for the active candidate count, which is a count of the number of applications in active interview stages.

Again, we're looking for is greater than or equal to one.

We'll add a new bucket for open and in this case we're looking for the status and we'll filter that to just open.

Our last bucket is approved and we'll switch the status to approved.

Let's go ahead and click save.

Now we can build reports and group by the openings recruiting status to see the current status of an open.

Whether that's that's filled, there's candidates in offer interviewing or maybe the opening is just open or approved.
