Trust Badges - 15 Minute Checkout Tune-Up

Hi Alex here again with the third component for our checkout tune up for pique tray.

So we've already had a look at the carousel and we've done the promo banner.

So that was six minutes and four minutes.

So I'm targeting to show you how to do this tune up in under 15.

So I've got five minutes to go to show you how to do some trust badging at checkout.

Now there's a number of different ways and a number of different component templates that you can leverage to do the trust badging.

So having a look here, I'm going to jump straight into create component and I'm going to look at the content components.

You can see here the templates that we have available and I'm going to show a few examples first before I go into what I'm going to set up today.

So, so the call out, I'm going to show you how that's utilized on buhi.

There's also the simple message that is utilized on the SUR checkout that I'll also show you.

And then I'm going to jump into setting up trust badges.

So just quickly, Buhi has used the call out here and they've stacked three just to really reiterate in a visual way, what their trust signals are for their customers at checkout.

So really, really beautiful checkout.

I love what they're doing here.

And then looking at the SUR checkout they've utilized that simple message so reassurance for customers to help drive conversion at that final checkpoint.

So a number of great components utilized on this site too.

All right, so jumping back in, as I said, let's have a go at trust badges.

So give the component a name Trust badge test is what I'm going to do for today.

There's a few different arrangements and alignments that you can look at as well.

And here is where we add our attributes and we layer those trust icons that we want to do.

So the first one I'm going to set up is 24.

7 support and I'm going to click into our image library to bring that trust badge in.

So here's one.

just here and I'm going to copy that image into the trust badge.

So I want to do three and you can see how they're starting to populate as I do add them in.

The next one we will put in.

How about Express delivery?

Having a look back at that image library now there's My icon there, I'm going to drop that one in there.

And the third component attribute that I'm going to add is free returns.

So back over here, here's my returns icon and adding that there.

So you can see up here how that's going to look with our preview.

Now with markets again you can select with which market you want this to show to.

So for example, if you are using some of the sort of more logistical call outs and you don't offer this within all regions, that is something that you can select which markets you do want them to show for.

And from a conditional rendering perspective, I'm not gonna set any cart rules for this.

So this will show for everybody.

Okay, so we'll make this one active.

I'm gonna copy the name of my component and save the component.

Now we call that Test Trust Badge and I'm going to add it into checkout.

Now there's my 15 minute checkout tune up and I'm going to add this last component so we can still see.

we've got our carousel upsell.

Now I want the trust badging to appear in this real estate so I'm going to add my component drop in that name.

I do want this to show for shop pay as well.

I want this to always be on and then I'm going to move this component into the position that I want that to show.

So we'll give our checkout a save now in less than 15 minutes.
