Lets jump in creating a last seen calculated field.
00:03
We'll go to the admin tab and we'll go to calculated fields.
00:09
Let's add a new one and the object type we want here is employees.
00:14
We'll add a title for our calculated field like Last seen and we'll click create.
00:19
Since we want a filter bucket field, let's add our first bucket.
00:22
In this case, we'll title it Last 7 Days.
00:27
Next we'll add our field to match and what we're looking for here is the last active date.
00:33
We'll select our matcher for is in the date range and we'll set this to in the last seven days and we'll include today.
00:42
Let's go ahead and add a new bucket and we'll say for the last 30 days we'll click submit.
00:46
We'll go ahead and update our in the last and we'll make this 30.
00:53
Add one more bucket and we'll say in the last 90 days we'll update the in the last again and we'll make that say 90.
01:06
All right, now we have our last seen calculated field.
01:10
Let's build a report to see what this looks like.
01:15
We'll switch our subject to employees and we'll select a field.
01:19
In this case, we're looking for the last seen calculated field we just created.
01:28
We can now see our calculated field grouping all of our active employees by their last active date.
01:35
We can see here there's currently only two, but if you're following along in your instance, you'll probably see a more interesting chart.
