Customize Your Keyboard Shortcut 🔑

Hi there.

My name is Kurosh, and in this video I'm going to show you how you can change your keyboard shortcut on Voicy.

Now, you start and stop your recordings with your keyboard shortcut, so finding the right one is super important.

To change your shortcut, all you need to do is open the Voicy app and on the homepage you have this box here at the very top that allows you to change your shortcut.

Simply click on this input, then type in the new shortcut that you want.

Let me show you how I do it on my keyboard.

So the keyboard shortcut that I want to use is Control plus space.

To tell Voicy I want to do this, I've clicked on the input as shown, and then I need to hold all keyboard shortcut buttons that I want to use at the same time.

So I just don't type in Control and then space.

What I do is I hold Control plus space.

Now I'm on my Mac, but it will be the same on your Windows.

Hold the keyboard shortcut you want to use.

If I want to use Control plus A, I hold Control and then a.

If I want option plus A, I do option A.

And then once you have done that, we can save the shortcut and I'm going to show you how right away.

So, back on the Voicy app, I now have Control plus space in here and all I do is I click on Save shortcut and it's done.

My shortcut is now updated and I can start and stop my recordings with it.

Please remember that to start and stop a recording, you only need to tap your keyboard shortcut.

You don't need to hold it.
