Feature Update - Checkout language and automatic translations

Hey everyone.

Quick, update on a new feature that's being released.

is automatic language detection and translation for our, hosted checkouts.

So that means the checkout pages, the product checkout pages, can now pick up the language of the customer's browser, and translate the checkout to their local language.

So in your checkout editor you'll see a section there called Language Currencies and Regions.

And we've added the language part here where you can set the default language for a page.

If you want to create a page only in German or only in French, you can set the language for the page, but you can also enable automatic translations.

So what this does is it picks up the language of the customer.

usually a setting on their machine or their browser.

and it will translate the checkout according to that.

So So to enable this, go to this section, you can toggle the translation.

if I switch that off and save, you'll see that it's a German checkout page.

and you can change that and obviously let's do a French or something else, there's a Greek one etc.

Also as part of the update is a new settings, tab called Checkouts.

And that is where you can set up default preferences for your checkouts for your account.

so that any new checkouts that you create, will have the same settings.

For instance, you can set the default language now if you want to change that for all new newly created checkouts and also change your brand colors so that everything has the same look and feel.

It's also where you enable automatic translations as a default for your account.
