Manychat to Kajabi Breakdown

this video I'm going to show you how to connect manychat to Kajabi.

So if you're using something besides Kit Flodesk, Klaviyo or mailchimp and you want to grow your newsletter from Instagram, I'm going to show you how to do it with Kajabi.

But this also applies to different tools, whether you're using Kajabi or not.

So this is the ManyChat automation right here.

We are basically just telling people that we have a newsletter.

They comment the word newsletter on one of our posts, they click the button, we collect their name and email.

And once we have both of those pieces of information, we add a tag to this person.

So the tag is going to be.

We're going to use.

Let, me see the ones that we have listed in Kajabi just so I know where to configure.

Testing for Workshop will be the tag.

So testing for Workshop.

So we'll say that once we have this person's name and email, we add them to the tag in manychat.

So this is going to be what triggers the Zapier to fire that person into Kajabi.

If you're not familiar with Zapier, basically it connects two apps or three apps or four apps, whatever you want to do, and has those apps talk to each other.

So it's, it's kind of conditional.

So you're basically saying if this person takes this action in this app or if something happens in this app, I also want it to happen in this app.

So you can, you know, collect emails through manychat and add them to a Google Sheets, you can send an invoice when somebody signs a contract, so on and so forth.

Right.

You're just connecting two or three or four different apps, through the API access.

But Zapier is handling all of that for you.

So what we're doing now is this is actually going to be the thing that fires this Zapier, to get this person from many chat into Kajabi.

So we're adding the tag that says testing for Workshop and we're going to say once that that person has been added to this tag.

So new tagged user in many chat.

Testing for Workshop.

It's probably not going to find anybody because no one's gone through it.

actually this person has gone through it.

So we'll hit continue with selected record and then step two is going to be to add this person to Kajabi.

So this is for the newsletter form, right?

So what you're going to have to do in Kajabi is go to marketing and go to forms and then create a form here.

So I have newsletter opt in.

So I'll do single opt in here just so it's works properly first.

And then I will go back to Kajabi or Zapier.

In the Kajabi step, click on create form submission, click on account, go to my account here, hit continue, choose the site and then choose the form.

Right.

So if I go back here, you'll notice all these different forms free manychat template, Manychat Bootcamp and then you'll also notice because I've connected Kajabi to Zapier that all of those forms are listed here.

So I'm just going to choose the newsletter opt in.

Once I have that, I'm going to map the Manychat field names to the Kajabi field names.

So user first name, user email address.

I've got that there.

We'll hit continue and then we can test it to make sure it fires properly.

This person should not get an email, but we'll just see if I go to the form submissions for my newsletter opt in here should see that person.

So this is taking every email that you generate from Instagram for your ManyChat or for your, your newsletter, opt in through ManyChat and automatically adding them to Kajabi.

So that's it, it's just two steps.

So you'll have this automation and I'll name it for you.

So newsletter to from Manychat to Kajabi and then I will allow you to download this exact template.

You can follow this, this video again for the instructions, but you'll have access to this.

You would use new tagged user in manychat, add them to a form submission or subscribe that person to a sequence in your email provider just by connecting it to Zapier and it will help you grow your newsletter very quickly.
