Hi folks, this is Joe Marone and I'm going to show you today how to create your own IXL account to use with Two Hour Learning.
00:10
IXL is a special partner of ours and for them you create your own account.
00:15
For every other type of account you're using, whether it's a first party or a third party account, we create all the other accounts for you.
00:23
So this is just unique to ixl.
00:25
And the good news is, is that this will just take you a couple of min.
00:29
Your very first step is you're going to want to find your way to a computer browser and pull up the IXL website and it's just ixl.com now if you're outside the United States, you may see a regional version of this website.
00:44
if that's the case, there'll actually be a little flag over here by membership.
00:49
you'll just click the down arrow by that flag and select the United States version.
00:54
And you should see exactly screen like the one I'm looking at right now.
00:58
So we're going to go ahead and take the first step here, which is to actually click that membership box in the top right hand corner.
01:04
And your screen will now look like this where you have three different types of accounts.
01:08
And we're going to choose family account and we're going to click on Join.
01:12
Now, our three options here are to choose a plan.
01:17
We're going to say monthly, a number of kids.
01:19
We're going to keep this at one for now.
01:21
But if you have two children with Two Hour Learning, you'll add that and make two, and then the two type of package.
01:28
And we've already correctly selected core subjects that was selected for us.
01:33
for 1995.
01:35
we're going to leave Spanish unchecked.
01:37
And then, I'm going to make this just my screen while I type in some billing information.
01:44
We're actually going to go ahead and get a account today so you can see the whole process.
01:50
and then you're going to click Join IXL and then we'll come back and you can see this is the screen you should be looking at now.
02:00
So the desired username.
02:02
we're just going to choose something I can remember.
02:06
must not contain spaces.
02:08
Okay, so how about that?
02:12
Yeah, great.
02:12
Password.
02:13
How about, Joe123 can make it that simple?
02:19
Joe123.
02:20
Sure.
02:20
Yeah.
02:20
Joe123.
02:21
we're going to use our, Austin, we use our school address here and no phone number today.
02:33
And Child's name is going to be Joe Jr.
02:37
You'd obviously type your real child's name here, and the grade level doesn't matter incredibly much.
02:42
But let's just say that Joe Jr.
02:44
Is in fourth grade.
02:45
And then we're going to click Create Account.
02:49
sure.
02:50
Save password.
02:52
There we go.
02:53
So we're done.
02:54
That is it.
02:55
We've got this new username for Joe Marone and a confirmation email went to my email address.
03:01
In the next video, I'm going to show you how to actually set up to ensure this is the count you're using, but you've made an account.
