Automating Live Chat Workflows 🤖

Hey, man, this is quite an interesting case, to be honest, because, like, you kind of need to, like, I'm a manychat educator, and you kind of need to combine a lot of stuff in manychat in order to get this without, buying, like, the new add on or like the Inbox Pro.

like, but you cannot do this if the agents don't manually flip their status.

Like, they still should do that, either way or the, like.

The only way I can think of doing this is, that the moment that a customer, like a user in manychat is not the live chat Aiden, but the user, the person that we are talking to, is a slot assigned.

So, for example, they get slot A.

then we should add a tag.

So you can add a tag named, slot A, for example, so we know that person has slot A, right?

Then when the agent removes the tag, that's the moment, when you can set up a rule.

So you can set up a rule, okay?

If the tag slot, A is removed, that means that you can update the bot fields, agent A, slot free, or slot A to free.

So you can have a bot field with slot A, you have it free and closed, for example, and then you can set it back to free.

Then the question is like, that's kind of the first part of the equation, right?

And then the second part is like, okay, but how do you make sure that kind of the people that are in the queue also then can go into slot A?

Because you kind of, have like three statuses.

You have, like, people that are in the queue for an agent.

So when you basically said, hey, we will assign an agent to you as quickly as possible.

And then you have people that are currently talking to an agent, so they have a slot.

And then you have people that you already did a conversation with, so they had slot, and then you move them back.

So now we need to know, okay, what people are in the queue, right?

Because now we, for example, have slot A ready.

Okay, what if the, for example, 20 people that are in the queue can get slot A?

And the only way of doing this is by using the ManyChat API, I think, right?

So, for example, what you could do is you could have a custom field in manychat with status, and every time someone gets in the queue, you could just give it, the status is queue, right?

And then what you can do with the ManyChat API is that you can find subscribers by a custom field.

So you can find by custom field.

And then Status for the custom field is status is Q.

Right.

So you basically find all the contacts in your managed account by the way subscribers the same as contact.

So basically you find all of the contacts in your manager account that have the cost of, have the status queue.

So let's say this will be 20 and then for one of them you can just say okay, we will do a many chat flow.

We will send a manager flow to you, right?

And then they get slot A, slot base, slot C.

so that's how I would do it.

It's like with the manager API.

So how this will work is like when attack is removed, you like if status A over like slot A is removed as attack, then you set the bot field so you know that the slot is open again.

And then what I would do is trigger make.

So make is an integration platform that you can use.

And, and then in Make I would get the data from ManyChat and then do an API call to find by custom field.

So if I can give like a very quick example, like how this would eventually look is something like this and make is like, like the pay plan is like 10 bucks a month.

So it's like not that expensive, a quick look scenarios.

Yeah.

So what you could do is like here you get, you get the data from ManyChat.

So that's basically what you do when you trigger make here.

Then here you need to have an API call.

So that's an HTTP module, that is like make a request.

And then what you do is like you find one of those people and then what you do is you send a minijet flow.

So it's like send a flow and then you send the flow for one of the people that you found with many chat.

And then your many chat flow is something like a condition with is bot feel is like is slot A3.

Okay.

Then this person gets slot A and then you update the but field and you add the tag.

And that's what you would also do for slot B and slot C.

So it's a little bit complicated.

I think the main thing that's important here to not overlook is that the agents still need to manually flip their status.

They still need to remove the tag each time someone like a person, like a conversation is resolved in slot A.

And that's really important because you could like that's basically the first thing that I would test because often the, the problem is not with the automation.

The problem is for example humans not doing the stuff that they need to do.

And then if they just don't, like, let's say you would create this entire integration and then they don't flip the status, or like, they don't remove the tag, then it doesn't work.

So that's like the first thing that I would tag is like, or check is like if the agents would like consistently do this, and if they do, then you have a good working system.

If not, you need to solve it in a way.

but this was basically the only way I could think of without signing up for an extra manager subscription.

You need to go with make.
