Kuraplan introduction

Hi, I'm Emory and this is Kuraplan.

Today I'm going to show you really quickly how Kuraplan works.

So let's jump straight in here.

You can see these are the three main ways that we help teachers save time in the classroom.

We help create lesson plans, unit plans and worksheets as well as a bunch of other tools down below.

Straight away I'm just going to jump in and create a unit plan.

So here I'm going to choose science is my subject.

I'm going to choose year eight.

I'm going to have 30 students in my classroom and I'm going to enter the topic for my unit here.

I'm going to ask for climate change.

And I'm not exactly sure how I want to teach climate change.

So I want to get some ideas from Kuraplan.

So here's where I can hit the extend idea button to get some ideas can be explored through a sensory based curriculum that invites children to observe weather patterns, experience different natural environments, or reflect on changes.

That's great.

If I wanted to get more ideas, I can just hit next ideas here.

I'm going to just do a six lesson unit and I'm going to do these for 45 minutes each.

Now we'll hit generate unit plan and watch the magic happen.

So what Kuraplan does is it aligns the unit, that we've created to the curriculum, so it looks through all of the curriculum documents and make sure everything's aligned.

Great.

Now I can see the outline for my unit and I'm just going to hit generate plan on each of these.

So you can see it makes it really easy to quickly generate a lot of lesson plans at once.

and of course at any time I can also share this.

So if I want to share it with a reliever teacher, I can print it or download as a PDF.

I can also copy all the text or email it to someone.

So hopefully that should be done quite soon and we'll start to get the first lesson plans done.

So here, we can just tap into any of these lesson plans at any time.

So maybe I'll start with the first one.

Cool.

This is great.

So here we can see our lesson plan on the left and we can also chat with the lesson plan on the right.

So here, we can see the curriculum references and all the curriculum alignment.

We can also see the lesson structure, really quickly on the right.

Here I'm going to show you how to create a worksheet really quickly off the back value of a lesson plan.

So here I'm going to just hit the make a worksheet for this lesson and in the background Kuraplan is going to look at the entire lesson plan and create a worksheet based on it.

I can also use the chat here on the right to adjust the lesson at any time.

So if I wanted to include differentiation in my lesson plan, Kuraplan can add a section for that straight into the lesson plan.

we can also edit just like in Google Docs.

so here I can just, just add a section onto the bottom of this.

but that's fine for now.

I can also share, of course I can download as Word PDF or print.

I can also send it to another teacher with a link or copy the text.

Here I'm going to jump into our worksheet and instantly you can see a really nice worksheet with a beautiful little illustration.

And we can see, this is asking students some questions about the lesson, which is awesome.

and of course I can edit or chat to refine this at any time.

Now I'm just going to quickly run through the rest of Kuraplan.

so here you can see these are the lessons that we've just generated in my library.

I can also see all of the worksheets that I've generated.

so here you can hover over and quickly get an idea of the worksheet that you've got.

I'm also going to show you that we can also generate images on Kuraplan.

So here you can see I've generated some native New Zealand birds.

I've also generated some planets, which is quite cool.

This really helps make some engaging resources, for your classroom, like posters.

then I can also show you we've got a generic AI chat, interface similar to what you might be used to on ChatGPT.

What's cool is that you can also edit images and worksheets and any resource would be in the chat.

So here I said I want an image of a fern tree.

Now I want it to change to blue and then I want to add some kiwi birds in the forest.

And just like that you can see Kuraplan's easily made those resources for me.
