You can chat hands free here if you enable auto record and auto send, but for smoother hands free practice with less latency.

Call mode is new, so it doesn't have every feature you'll see in the standard chat modes just yet, but it feels incredibly realistic and you can even interrupt the AI.

You can change the speed of replies and some characters also naturally speak Speak slower than others.

If you need to listen to a reply at a slower speed, tap the turtle.

If you're not sure how to say something, feel free to speak in your native language.

And if you need inspiration, tap the lightbulb button to see and hear two possible replies.

Or you can enable guided mode to automatically get a suggestion for every reply.

It means you don't have to think of what you say, so it's popular with learners.

The beauty of speaking with AI is there's no pressure, and Langua helps you learn from mistakes.

To get feedback, you can tap the pencil icon under any of your replies to see instant written corrections.

You can also enable this to happen automatically in the chat settings.

Alternatively, you can get the AI to verbally ask you to repeat corrected phrases.

Tap or click the wand to see an alternative way of phrasing what you just said.

It's a powerful way to expand your vocabulary when you end a chat.

You can also generate a detailed feedback report which provides suggestions and even cultural tips.

Tap or click on any word to see the translation and related phrases, then use the plus button to save it.

If you want to translate a specific phrase, hold the first word, then tap the last.

If you're on the web version, you will instead drag your cursor over the text on the vocabulary page.

You can do flashcard exercises that apply a spaced repetition algorithm to help you learn efficiently.

Or start a vocab chat and the AI will blend your saved words into the conversation, encouraging you to use them in context.

We've crafted numerous conversations that are designed to get you speaking and challenge you in different ways.

Via the general category, you can chat about your life or interests.

We have dozens of roleplays for travel, work and social life.

Debates are great for practicing expressing opinions within vocab and games.

There are various fun ways to build your vocabulary and if you select grammar, you'll see a range of exercises with personalized grammar topics based on your frequent mistakes.

If you can't find what you're looking for, you can design your own custom instructions for the AI.

Lastly, if you're a beginner, there's an innovative course that teaches you key phrases.

The characters you chat with have voices cloned from native speakers, including well known YouTubers, which is why they sound so human.

You can explore all the voices in the chat settings.

Many languages have characters for specific dialects, so you can learn how to speak like a local.

Under the advanced settings, you can also switch between AI models.

Currently V1 is the most intelligent, while V2 is slightly faster.

AI isn't perfect just like a human, it can make mistakes and occasionally our technology providers have issues.

We do our best to minimize disruption, like automatically retrying if a message doesn't come through and making it easy to switch AI models if you have any trouble.
