In this video, we are going to take a quick tour around the Gloria template.
00:04
So you're familiar with all the pages and sections that are available to you.
00:09
You probably noticed that we have multiple home pages, multiple about pages, multiple options for, for service pages, and then a whole bunch of other pages here.
00:20
So let's start with the homepage.
00:22
On the first version of your homepage, we have a split screen header so you can have an image of yourself that will fit in a nice little square here.
00:31
Then we have a section that, lists three potential services.
00:35
You could also potentially link out to three different pages on your website.
00:40
One could be your services page, or one could be your blog and one could be your contact page.
00:47
Kind of depends on how you structure your business and how you structure your website.
00:51
Our next section here is a quick introduction section to get to know you and then that links out to whichever about page you're using.
00:59
We've got a testimonial.
01:01
There's lots of testimonials sprinkled throughout the website because ideally you want to have them all over your website.
01:06
So everyone knows how wonderful you are.
01:09
But you might not have testimonials yet.
01:11
You may only have a couple.
01:12
You can just take these out anywhere you like.
01:16
We also have an option to include a testimonial slider if you have lots of testimonials.
01:21
So I'll show you that in a minute.
01:22
Next section is pulling in your blog entries.
01:26
If you are not going to have a blog on your template, you can remove this section.
01:31
I'll also show you in the course how to make backups of all of these pages.
01:34
So if, for example, you don't have a blog to start but you add a blog later, you can come and add this section back in.
01:42
It's super easy to remove sections, copy sections, move them between pages, and I'll show you all of that in the launch course.
01:50
Then next we have a section to have people sign up to your newsletter.
01:55
So this particular block connects to Squarespace email campaigns.
01:59
We talk about that all in the newsletter setup lesson.
02:02
If you are not going to capture email addresses on your website, you can take this out.
02:07
Then we have our footer, which appears on every page.
02:10
There are a few different sections in this footer.
02:12
This first one is just a Strip of images, a nice little photo gallery.
02:18
It can also pull in your Instagram profile and I'll explain how to set both of those up in the course.
02:25
Also, you can just take this out if you don't want to have these pictures here.
02:28
And then you can just have the footer which has the other important information that you have at the bottom of your website.
02:34
So let's take a look at the second homepage.
02:37
This homepage has a banner with a full width image.
02:41
So if this is an image that you have and you want to use this format, this is an option.
02:46
You could use this format on any of your pages.
02:49
All of the sections can be easily moved around if you want to put them together in a different way.
02:54
Then we have a section here that's a little bit simpler to just do a quick summary of your services and then link out to a services page, which would then list all of your services.
03:03
So just another option here.
03:05
Here we have another format of a testimonial that just has words and no image.
03:10
Another intro section here with a slightly different format.
03:13
And then we have another version of a newsletter signup block.
03:18
You might want to offer something free in return for an email address, like a download or a course.
03:26
It could be anything.
03:28
and so this is another format where you could put a picture of that thing, or it can just be a regular newsletter sign up with an image next to it.
03:35
So just another way to do that.
03:36
And then we've got our footer over here on the about one page.
03:42
This is a very big about page.
03:45
There's lots of different sections.
03:47
If you wanted to really talk a lot about your story, coaches often want to have, very detailed about pages so people can really get to know them and trust them before they work with them.
03:57
So you have this option.
03:58
You could use all of these sections.
03:59
You could take some of these sections out.
04:02
So we have a banner here with two images on it.
04:05
Then we have a section where you can, tell a story in a few paragraphs about yourself.
04:11
You could continue here in this section, or maybe here you list your credentials or something else about yourself.
04:18
Then we have a testimonial.
04:20
We have a section where you could potentially list your core values.
04:23
You could really use this for anything.
04:24
You could list three things that you wanted to talk about here.
04:28
And then we have another section where you could list more things.
04:31
Sometimes people like to include fun facts about themselves.
04:35
Or you could just list your credentials here.
04:38
So there are a lot of different sections with a lot of different formats that you could use to really, tell a story about yourself on this page.
04:46
Then finally, we have a call to action.
04:48
It's very important on websites that when people get to an end of a page, they know what they could do if they want to keep going.
04:54
You don't want to leave them hanging.
04:56
You want them to check out your services.
04:58
So that's a great place to link to at the bottom of your about page.
05:03
Then we have another version of the about page that's much simpler.
05:06
You might just want to say a few paragraphs about yourself and have one picture of yourself.
05:12
I know how hard it can be to find pictures for your website, so I have very specifically structured this template to have lots of options.
05:20
Options if you have lots of photos, and options if you don't have a lot of photos.
05:24
Or maybe you just don't want to have a lot of pictures of yourself all over the place on your website.
05:28
so there's lots of different options in this template depending on what your situation is.
05:32
Now we have a few different options for services pages.
05:36
Now we have a few different options for services pages.
05:39
These first two services pages are intended to list many services.
05:45
So we have a header here.
05:47
This one has an introduction section.
05:49
So you can talk a little bit more about your services before you list them.
05:54
Then you can list each of your services and talk a little bit about them here.
05:58
And this button currently links out to the contact page.
06:01
It could link to a page to schedule an appointment with you, or it could even link to a page that goes into more depth about this particular service.
06:10
And you could use the single service page for that.
06:12
You have, three sections here.
06:14
You can create more sections.
06:16
You can have fewer sections.
06:18
Then we've got a section here to talk about the process of working with you.
06:23
This might not make sense in every industry, but it's something that I wanted to include just in case you wanted to provide this information in your website.
06:32
Then we've got a testimonial and then a frequently asked questions section in case this makes sense for your business.
06:40
And then we've got another call to action at the end of the page.
06:43
Then the services 2 page is another one of those pages.
06:47
That is designed for.
06:48
If you don't have a lot of images, there's just one picture here at the top.
06:52
Then we've got a little visual banner where you could list some benefits of working with you or some features of your services.
07:00
And then down here you can just list your services without pictures.
07:04
Optionally you can include pricing.
07:06
So I, show how you might want to call that out.
07:08
Then we've got a testimonial here.
07:10
And then we've got another format for talking about the process of working with you.
07:15
You could use this for anything.
07:17
This could be different features or different benefits of working with you.
07:20
But each one of these drops down.
07:22
We call this an accordion block where you can put additional information inside each of these options.
07:28
Then we've got our call to action at the bottom of the page.
07:31
Then this last format of a services page is intended to go into detail about one service.
07:38
You could potentially have three of these pages on your website that each talk about your individual service.
07:44
If you're a therapist, for example, you might have a page on individual counseling, one on group counseling.
07:49
So we have a header here with a couple of images.
07:52
Here we have a scrolling banner, just another format that you could use to list some benefits or features of working with you.
07:59
Or even the different types of people that you work with could be on this banner.
08:03
Then here we have the details of the service, another option for talking about the process of working with you.
08:09
This one has four steps.
08:10
If you like a different format better than this one, you can just very easily swap them out.
08:15
We've got a testimonial and then another Frequently Asked Questions.
08:19
This one just has one column format and another call to action.
08:22
Then here is our blog page, as mentioned.
08:25
You can remove this if you're not using it and then bring it back later.
08:29
You can use this for writing blog articles.
08:31
You can use this for linking out to articles you've written in other places.
08:35
You can use this for resources, all different ways.
08:38
You can use a blog on your website.
08:40
Then we have our other pages.
08:41
These are just miscellaneous type pages that people like to have often.
08:46
This is a page that you can use for.
08:48
We used to call it a, link in bio page.
08:51
It could be on any of your social media profiles that take people to this page on your website.
08:57
And you can then direct them to anything specific you want them to look at.
09:01
You can also potentially include, a couple of articles from your blog.
09:05
Down here.
09:06
This has a special page that has the header and footer hidden.
09:10
So.
09:11
So it's just focused on what you want to tell people about yourself and your business and so you can point them in the direction you want them to go.
09:18
Next, we have a special page for a newsletter sign up.
09:22
The reason why this is here is that I have a button for subscribing here in the footer.
09:27
And if they click on this button, they are going to come to this page.
09:31
That's just the easiest way to do it.
09:33
If you want to have a newsletter sign up in your footer, you don't have to use this.
09:37
If that doesn't.
09:38
If that's not something you want to do.
09:40
Here is our page where you can embed a scheduling block.
09:44
There's a whole lesson that talks about some options for scheduling tools.
09:48
And you would add that onto this very simple scheduling page.
09:52
This is a page where people come.
09:54
If they have a broken link or They just have the wrong link for trying to get to something on your website.
09:59
They will come here and you can direct them to anywhere else on your website.
10:04
They can fill out a form to let you know what's broken.
10:06
And you can optionally list a few of your blog posts here.
10:10
The intent is, instead of just having them get to a page, it's like, whoops, that doesn't work.
10:15
You can redirect them so they stay on your website.
10:18
And then finally, here's a few other alternate sections you can swap out.
10:22
Here's a services section that uses some pictures.
10:25
If you have lots of pictures.
10:27
Here's another format that, just doesn't have those little text icons on it.
10:33
If you don't like those, I just wanted to show you how that could look.
10:36
This is another example that links out to three different pages on your website instead of three different services.
10:42
Here is the testimonial slider.
10:45
You could use this format anywhere on your website if you want to include lots of testimonials and people can, slide through them.
10:53
That's why it's called a slider.
10:54
And then finally we have your contact page.
10:56
This is how people can reach out to you.
10:59
They would fill out this form and then I show you how to customize this form.
11:03
And here we have a newsletter signup So that's a quick tour around the template.
11:07
Lots of options, I structured it this way to make sure that you have everything you need for a really good services website.
11:15
You can start small, you can expand as you grow, but there are a lot of robust options here.
