Plin Concept Demo

Hi, I'm Samir from Plin.

Happy to have you here.

I'm going to show you now our concept prototype, what we're building in Plin.

So here you see a normal sketch file, right?

So we've got white canvas, we got walls, windows, and that's, that's about it.

And now what I want to do, I want to create a kitchen here.

So instead of drawing it, manually, I'm going to the extensions, open up the Plin plugin and then the kitchen generator model pops up.

And the first step here is to describe what kind of a kitchen we want to create.

And we've got some corners here.

I have pre filled the here.

So length, width, what shape of L shape, C shape, what not.

I'm gonna use back Walpole's Islander here and Scandinavian style.

I'm gonna use archical kitchen components in my designs.

And then we got one freeform, text input here and let's see what happens when I create it.

Amazing.

Don't you like it?

This is already pretty neat.

I like the direction and just before we move forward, I want to make sure you understand what we have here is actual 3D models.

Not just nice image, but we are in Sketchup.

And now we are using the archicalous components where you see the drawers, everything inside, of the cabinets here as well.

So let's continue with the fronts installed.

And now I want to iterate this a bit.

So let's add a trendy wall lamp and a white curtain here and let's see how it looks.

All right, this is already quite nice.

And right now I feel it would be nice to see how this would look like in a rendered mode.

So I'm gonna pull up my Enscape window and here we can see that it already looks, looks pretty neat, right?

but I think it's a bit pale so I would love to have a bit more character on this.

So let's do another iteration.

make it more bold and trendy.

I want to see some wood patterns in the islander.

And let's see how does this look like now?

Oh yeah, I like this.

I'm ready to move forward with this kitchen design.

So I'm going to say accept and finish session and this is it.

So it's nice to look at the ready rendered image here or if you want.

You can then jump on the SketchUp file and then continue editing, as any sketchup file you have been doing.
