So today I'm super excited to show you the casual company name templates.

So the idea here is really that a lot of the time when we want to build lead list, the end goal here is to send some type of message.

Whether it's an email or a LinkedIn message.

it's really important to make this really feel and sound human.

And not only human, but actually kind of like casual.

And these are things that you might not think of before you really look at a lot of lead lists.

But if we take some examples here, I'm sure that you will agree.

So if we would get some websites here, for instance for the University of Toronto, some like an independent school district, like Dallas Independent School District, Weta fx, which is the FX studio that the Lord of the Rings for instance.

We're also having an example here with Global Payments.

If you just enrich the company using Clay's own enrichment column, what you will see is that sometimes it might write out University of Toronto.

Sounds okay, but anyone that knows University of Toronto knows that it's kind of called U of T or uot.

if you have Dallas Independent School District, imagine that we would like write and like do people that kind of work there and know anything about that?

Do they really call it, do they write that whole thing out?

And for instance, Global Payments Inc.

Of course if you get an email like hi, I saw that you were working at Global Payments Inc.

Nobody writes like this.

So something is immediately off and a person can just immediately call out that, yeah, this is not like a person that has done any proper research about us that is contacting me.

So the interesting thing here is that Klay does have a normalized company name column which is really cool because it doesn't cost any credits.

But what I wanted to call out here is that it can remove stuff like Inc, which is great.

So Global Payments Inc.

Becomes Global Payments, which is way better.

But again it doesn't like change.

Like Dallas Independent School District is still Dallas Independent School District.

But what I've done here is that I've created a Clayton, that does research and not only like looking for the proper name or the formal name of this organization, but really like goes to its website and starts to look for information where very often like a bit below on the website, University of Toronto actually starts saying U of T News.

And Dallas, Independent School District, they call themselves Dallas isd weta.

like if you write it out?

No, like, very few people will would write it out, with these, special characters.

You just call it Weta.

and so this kind of change can make a massive difference in, like, the perception that you get when you send a message to someone that it feels like, you know, this organization, so it feels much more natural.
