@Grant Shaddick Yes of course I get that it wont highlight during the actual recording, but it is distracting to see it the whole time just because sometimes I want my tella app to be idle (open but not in use) until I'm ready to record. and when I do press record, I want to make sure in the first 3 seconds (countdown) that it is recording the ACTUAL screen I want to record. So the highlight you created is very helpful for that, but it is annoying to see it all the time until I toggle it off. and if I do turn it off, I wouldn't necessary remember to turn it on before I start recording again. That's why I suggested the recorded screen will be highlighted in the 3 seconds countdown. Thoughts?
@Elron Bucai it won't highlight during the actual recording, only during setup. Is it distracting to see it the whole time while setting up your recording?
Bravo!
Nice! I like. One stop shop.
Fantastic! I love all of this!
Cool stuff! Well thought out!
I'm in love with "quick preferences"! I like how it splits into different buttons, but joined when not on hover. Very inspiring UI!
The "Hightlight selected screen" is good! but then I tried it and understood its highlighting ALL the time. May I suggest that it will highlight the screen on countdown? (I'm asking this because there was at least one time that I recorded 1 hour video and it turns out later I recorded the wrong screen. bummer.)
Super additions Grant! I still get the error message/prompt saying that I am not recording audio. But when I stop the recording and go to the website to edit the video, audio has been recorded. I’ve mentioned this to you before and the issue has never been resolved. I just ignore the “no audio” prompt but it is quite distracting to see each time I use the app. 👎 (I’m TC Conner Photography by the way, not “anonymous.“)
Why only on Mac! 😭
Sorry about my bad audio! (mic brushing against my hoodie...)
Sorry about the bad audio with my mic rubbing on my hoodie :(
Very nice enhancements, Thank you!
But we really need fast-play (2x, 3x) in the trim/layout/zoom editor — ideally with keyboard shortcuts to switch between high-speed and 1x speed. Thanks 🙏
