Clay Ranking Issue

Hey guys, here, quick update on the ranking issue.

Because the fix which worked a couple of weeks ago did not continuously work and I had to fix this formula again and again.

So I'm hoping to get some help from you guys to point me in the right direction how to really fix it once and for all.

Because I can not imagine that I'm the only one with the issue.

It must be something a lot of clay users struggle with.

So a couple weeks ago I finally had identified a formula which worked which gave me the proper ranking as you can also see here for example with this one particular contact client Fin.

this company here was probably ranked by using this formula and yeah, had just really good success.

Then a while after the same formula just kept giving me the rank zero for every single contact.

No matter if it was one person, five people, 100 people, whatever working at the company.

I just kept getting yeah, zero always as a result.

So somehow this sorting formula didn't work anymore and I need to come up with a new solution.

So here was records sort.

Then I tried it again and at some point came up with a new one.

So essentially this index, index formula where something is parsed and so on, whatever was then the solution which seemed to really give me the accurate results which now also still currently works.

So for example you can also see here that the ranking is accurate for Zooplus based on the, on the score here.

but that also didn't work the whole time anymore.

So it was just broken in in some place at some point.

So that's why I went back to my very first initial solution I tried yeah weeks ago, which didn't work then but now somehow it did work sort of is essentially using ChatGPT 5 the Reason Mini the reasoning model here to get me an accurate ranking of the people based on the relevant score.

And as you can see here in this column it is kind of working now but also not 100% accurate because the one here with the Highest ranking with 198 should have number one.

Should, should have the rank number one as the formula now also properly does this one here should be number two, but it is number one.

This one should be three.

It's now suddenly number 10.

So it is a bit messed up for example for this one.

but then I also had already other companies where the ranking then was accurate again.

So it's just, I don't know, it's just really really messy and it's not 100%, reliable if I do it like this or if I do it like this.

And also it just keeps breaking again over time.

So the question is I'm just going to also run it now to show you.

Maybe now I'll get different results again when we never know.

But yeah, the question is what is an accurate way to rank the number the people who work at the same company based on the score which is just continuously working.

So right now it does deliver the accurate results again but tomorrow maybe not.

So yeah, I just really want to know what is an accurate way to get the ranking of the number of people who all work at the same company based on a numeric value which in this case is the.

The adjusted relevant score.
