What is Daysync? (Quick Look)

Hi, my name is Kenny.

Welcome to the Daysync platform.

Today I'm just going to run you through the very basics of the platform itself and what you're looking at.

So on desktop here we can see we have the dates on the left hand side.

So to change day you can change them here.

Navigate, between the days.

The days have types, they have names, they have locations as well, which you can change by clicking this little edit pencil.

You'll see this as well when you go through the create a tour, option.

But for now let's just check out the main views.

So first up, on the day view itself we have a schedule.

So schedule is everything from drive items to schedule items and regular events all in one place.

you can see here I already have some created.

You can click on them to view them, you can edit them from the sidebar menu.

Here you can adjust visibility, add tags, reminders, all of the other finer, complex features of Day Sync.

But to create one you can just hit new item, or if you fan of hotkeys, you can just hit N and that will create it as well.

And then command left and right on your keyboard will switch between the types.

You can see we've got schedule item here.

So which is a normal, normal calendar event slot in the day.

Then we have drive, flight, rail, boat, walk, all of which are calculated using route calculation and everything as well.

Drive also has a vehicle selection where you can set more complex profiles for your drive to avoid different things as well.

but from there we can create a whole day.

We can color code these items if we want to, which is really, really cool.

And we can add people to these or add tags, for these particular items to make them stand out.

So there's three different views here as well.

Table, Day sheet and calendar.

The day sheet view corresponds with what it looks like on mobile, so you can make sure that your crew sees everything correctly.

So the next major view on this day here is stays.

So this is your accommodation.

This will cover all of your accommodation for the day, including checking in, checking out stays as well.

You can see these on a map.

If you click in here you can see all of this information.

You can add more stay information if you want to as well.

There's room lists, there's visibility again, notes, attachments.

You can also see a drive to venue here which will show you on a map how to drive to a venue.

we've got key contacts we can add in Here as well which will show up on your crew members contacts page on the mobile phone for easy access.

then roomless as well as an alternate view if you have roomless set up for larger terrain crews.

Moving on to venue.

venue here this just information is populated from Google so you can search up if you wanted to add a new venue.

Let's just say we wanted to add the Nightcat in Melbourne.

We can search this here and we can add this to this day.

It'll pull this information from online and we can add it to our current day as well.

And this will actually run alongside the stay Gold venue that's already been selected as well.

but from there it populates most of the information from Google.

You can then add more information as well.

Quite a bit of information including attachments for venue rider, venue tech packs key, contact information.

You can notify people of these changes, et from here we also have guest list.

in guest list you can add custom pass types.

you can then also manage your entire guest list in here.

This is also available on mobile.

your crew members will submit on their mobile, it will come through here and you can then sort through all of this and approve deny, you can then export send to venue all that kind of stuff just from this menu here.

Lastly we also have bulletin.

A bulletin itself is like a message board, so it's a notes board.

Bulletins can be posted, they can be scheduled, they can be sent with notifications.

they can also have attachments and have rich text so they can add bullet points or bold text and these can be done across all of these different days.

So this is the bulletin for the specific day.

So if you wanted to schedule a bulletin to notify people of when you're going to be loading in or notify people once they've loaded in what the information for the venue is.

You can pre populate this information based on the venue pack itself and ping it to people's phones at the right time so people actually read it.

The last major feature is actually not within this tab set and it is the tour chat itself.

day sync has a tour chat where everybody within the chat can either talk and congregate on channels or have a one on one DM or have a group channel which is private, the leading TM or manager of this tour can set up, channels here.

They can be private within, with individual people in them.

They can be a group public channel, or direct messages in here as well.

So those are the main features of Daysync.

And we'll be keen to see you out there and to be getting your feedback.

Thanks, everyone.
