Walk you through how to design your own personalized day with your face, your body, your back, all the things.

It's actually a lot easier than you think.

So first thing you need to do is on your computer, you either need to use your webcam like I'm doing now, or you need to pull out your phone, put it on a tripod, film yourself for a 2 to 3 second video.

What I did was I just grabbed my photo booth app, and used the video feature.

So it counts down for you.

And this, so just click the video, it'll count down for you.

So what you want to do is start doing the action.

So if it's going to be like coffee, like do the thing and then pause so that you have time to trim it.

And then now you have the video.

So you can actually, so you can actually open the video in quicktime and trim it down to just the two to three seconds that you want to have in the video.

Let's see export, let's put it on the desktop and click save.

Now we have the thing which we can open with time.

The command for getting into the editor is command T, but you can also get there by going edit trim.

And now you're going to be able to use this yellow slider to first of all record a better thing than I did.

And so it's going to do down on the loop.

So if you trim it suddenly second.

So when you're done trimming, you go up to export as pick your resolution.

I'd say start with 480 or 720 depending on how high res I want it to be.

Rename it.

So now you have a second video.

Now you're going to delete that copy.

saved.

Now all you have to do is go to gifmaker me, select video to gif.

It'll open in a new tab, you upload your video and select that final export.

It's only a second, so it'll upload quickly.

We want it to be let's say 500 pixels wide and maybe we're going to do like 15 frames per second.

So let's just try that.

Do convert.

Now give it a second to convert it to a GIF format and then download.

So once it download and now we have the gif.

So it doesn't matter if you have sound in it.

GIFs don't have sound.

So when you make it into a gif, you're not going to have any sound in there.

So all you have to do is rename it.

Wow, whatever.

And then you can see the file size.

So if you need it to be smaller than that, decrease the image width, maybe change it down to like 7 or 10 frames per second instead of 15 or 20 and then do another convert, give it a few seconds and then you'll have another version in your download.

So let's see what the difference is between those two.

That one is 865 kilobytes as opposed to 1.8 megabytes.

That's about half the size you can see the quality is not that different.

So I think we can get pretty good.

If you stick within that one to three second range, you'll be able to get a decent file size on those.

And then you just have to have a spot on your computer where you save all of your GIFs.

And just for good measure, at least for a while, I also keep videos how I created gifs just in case I need to go back in and retrieve something.

But then I always just name them like me so that I know the GIF is myself.

And then whatever I'm doing so that it's searchable in my finder.

And that's it.

You've created your gif.

So I encourage you to go ahead and make a bunch of them.

Change your clothes, your outfit so that they don't all look exactly the same.

And then you have stuff that you can insert into client emails and have a little bit more fun.
